Renaissance Christian Academy

This is the first year my child has been enrolled at Renaissance Christian Academy (RCA). My child has grown tremendously, academically, spiritually and personally. RCA is a school were the administration and staff have a positive attitude about your childs academic and spiritual growth. The cirriulum at RCA is challenging and it prepares your child for the next stage in life. It is also a place where your child can worship God freely. I find that the staff at RCA strives everyday to be respectful, christ-like and accountable in all they do. Communication is the "Key" in everything you do and the administration and staff at RCA are willing to resolve any issues or concerns in a positivie and respectful manner. I am pleased with the experience my child and I have received at RCA.

I am a proud parent of a second grader who has been a student of RCA since K5. I searched and interviewed several private schools before selecting RCA as the place where my son would receive his education. He has thrived each and every year and I know this is because of the partnership I have with his teachers, the administration and the staff. The administration is one that puts students first and it is no secret that the students are "the" top priority. The curriulum at RCA is challenging, and I LOVE it. My son is motivated not only about the reading, writing, science, math, but the spiritual aspects as well. My son is an environment where he is FREE to praise and worship GOD in the same building that he receives a quality education. No place is perfect, but I am perfectly satisfied with the nuturing and education that my son is receiving from RCA. I have learned that in any relationship communication is the key and I have NEVER had a problem with either the administration, teachers or staff not addressing my concerns and comments in a professional and respectful way.

This is our first year at RCA and we have both a K3 & K4 student enrolled. Each of them has grown tremendously both academically and personally. RCA is a great school whose goal it is to provide students with an excellent and affordable education. The ABEKA curriculum used is concise, fun and challenging, and keeps Christ at the center of every subject. For the most part, teachers and staff are talented, hardworking and dedicated. I have found the teachers and staff to be human, people like anyone else. With that said they are approachable, engaging and inclusive. In my experience, someone is always available and willing to take the time to speak with me about my children. I have had no problem raising concerns with both the principal and teachers alike and I have always felt heard and a valued part of my kids educational team.

I had been informed that RCA was a good school through Grade 4 or so. My intent was to have my child remain in the school until that time. However, this year will be the last. The administration is awful! The staff is so nasty. I cannot for the life of me understand how they are teaching those children about Christ and being Christ-like. I chose a private Christian education for my child because I wanted to receive not only great education, but a warm CHRISTIAN environment. This school is anything but that! The staff and parents are so nasty. The environment isn't friendly at all. Children learn by EXAMPLE. The staff at RCA needs to SET A GOOD EXAMPLE for these students. It's so sickening. Definitely NOT Bile-based.
