The amount of bullying and racism in this school is absolutely disgusting. The kids are unruly, can't keep their hands to themselves, curse and uses racial slurs as if it's nothing wrong with it. When you report it the Principal downplay it as if it's harmless. The school celebrate every holiday, culture and religion but does nothing at all for black History month teaching the kids of color nothing in reference to their own kind. I hate it there and can't wait for my kids to go to another school.

I had three students go through Dowell. One transferred in during his fifth grade year, the next during his third grade year and the youngest during her kindergarten year. The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful. When they struggeled, the teachers helped me come up with solutions. The entire staff, from the secretary to the principal were wonderful! I couldn't have asked for a better environment to help them reach the milestones. The staff still asks about them now that they are older.
