My daughter attends kindergarten and we couldnt be happier her teacher is so good and all the staff, with the kids. They get to go outside at least twice a day which is important for little kids. Shes learned to read and write since starting there this fall. She is so happy when she comes home from school and Is always excited to go in the morning, I feel like that says a lot for a 5 yr old. So glad I found this school. Not to mention how well organized and great working system for staying safe/covid-free.

What a wonderful school. I am so lucky to have found this school for my son and my daughter. They both attended for three years, and have excelled both academically and socially after leaving BMS. A traditional montessori education at a school that will be 30 years old in September 2012! Extremely low turnover and a knowledgeable, caring staff made this a great experience for the whole family.

I did not have a good experience with this school. Teacher didn't know about my child and teacher kept talking about other children, sometimes labeling them or praising one genius child in her class, during the conference. They seemed more interested in generating one start student, rather than paying individualized attention to each child. I also saw kids say "I don't like you. I am not gonna be your friend. Let's not play with this girl. You cannot sit here because you are not our friends" kids were excluding one child... and I raised this issue but teacher did not do anything... they focus more on academic development rather than social development...

Put your kids ahead for life with this wonderful montessori educations. Great long-term staff, complete flexibility, french, computer and art offerred as part of the program, and wonderful after school programs available on site. Can't ask for a better location near bethesda metro.
