If your child is an active energetic child who loves to play and explore this is not the school for him/her. They prefer to work with very calm and obedient kids. I had a very bad experience at our orientation date. Teachers basically didn’t know how to connect with my child. After we returned home I got an email from the director of the school that we should wait until the next season for admission because our two and half year old child was not following rules and could not communicate!! This is after we paid the none refundable registration fee. I contacted Montgomery country Infants and Toddlers Speech- Language Pathologist immediately and after their evaluation and their report they were shocked that we were told our son can’t communicate or follow rules!! I would give 1 star to this school and I hope nobody experiences what we experienced with this school ever!

This is an absolutely fabulous preschool. My older daughter attended 3 years prior to moving to public school, and I feel that Geneva did an excellent job preparing her for Kindergarten. When it came time to pick a preschool for my younger daughter, there was no doubt in my mind that she would go to Geneva as well. She has had a terrific two years there and we are sad that this will be her last year. Great curriculum, caring teachers, fantastic enrichment program. Can't say enough good things about this school!

I can't say enough good things about Geneva. Caring teachers, organized and passionate administration and involved parents. I went to pre-school at Geneva and credit my early school experiences there for sparking a love of learning. When it came time to pick a pre-school for my children, I could not find a school that could compare. After almost 30 years, our family is still dear friends with families we met at Geneva, and I wanted the same thing for my children. It is a wonderful community!

Great curriculum (for preschool) and great teachers. My daughter has flourished at this school and my husband and i couldn't be happier. Many activities for the children and parents. I will be sad when my daughter has to move on next year.

Geneva Day School is a great place for young children...and their parents. My children went to preschool and Kindergarten here 10 years ago and still love it. As teenagers, they now love coming back and helping with summer camp. As parents, we were welcome to volunteer in so many ways, including in the classroom. Because of this, we still remain friends with all those other parents, always with such fond memories. Regardless of where I meet someone whose child attended (or perhaps they attended) Geneva Day School, they always get excited and share truly fond and happy memories. This school is like a hidden gem. The staff are incredible, engaging and truly have your child's best interests at heart. No wonder they were voted Best Preschool for 2012 by Bethesda Magazine. Congrats, Geneva Day School!

We love Geneva Day School. The teachers are caring and wonderful. The school is clean and well organized. The children are taught in a manner that encourages them to learn and explore. Also, they offer fantastic enrichment programs.
