My daughter is in PreK 3 and her cousin is in middle school. They are both excelling. The school is run exceptionally well and the principal maintains an active presence. My daughter is 3 years old and loves going to school. She identifies her teacher along with her classmates as her friends. I couldnt ask for my daughter to be in a better environment. This is a Christian school that not only teaches Christian values, but actively demonstrates them by example.

Do not send your child here. The environment itself is nurturing, safe, and caring. However, the academics is lacking. My child attended the preschool and was constantly told she was fine and on target academically until she went to Kindergarten, I was told she struggles with reading. With such a vigorous curriculum such as abeka I was told she should have been a beginner reader. The teachers aren't certified or have degrees and the school lacks accreditation. The caliber of teachers are off as well. They are all hired because they are related to someone or apart of the church vs having a strong background in education. I would not send my child here above preschool. The principal isn't personable and comes off as rude. She takes forever to respond to concerned parents. The entire academy could use an overhaul to get where they need to be in order to compete with surrounding area schools like Holy Trinity, Reid Temple, Riverdale Baptist, etc.

New principal since 2015; young vibrant, energetic, highly qualified, former teacher who knows instruction. Very approachable and relational.

Christian principles are taught daily and students must apply what they are taught. Chapel lessons reinforce strong character.

This small private school thoroughly equips students for any learning environment. They specialize in individualized instruction and really meet the needs of each student. The environment is warm and nurturing; and affordable. I am impressed with their middle school because their students are accepted to high performing high schools like Bishop McNamara, Elizabeth Seton, St. John's College High School, St. Vincent Pallotti, PG County's Science and Tech programs and the Academy of Health and Science. Small makes a lot of difference especially if you are looking for one-on-one interaction for you child.
