Love, love, love this program! My son has been here for 4 years (he did a transition two year) and is thriving in this environment. The Reggio model has helped him really love the process of learning. He eagerly goes to school each morning and looks forward to participating in the "centers" going on in his classroom. The child-directed curriculum really works. I'm still in awe that he has learned to read at such an early age. I also really like that the school offers so many enrichments above and beyond the school day (sports, gymnastics, swimming, science, art, cooking, etc.). The Director has put together a terrific program!

Our daughter is in the full-day 2s this year, and we have been extremely happy. Nurturing, responsive teachers!

My first child started here 3 years ago and my second just began this year. I could not be any happier anywhere else. The staff (teachers, directors, specialists, etc.) exude such warmth and campassion. My children are thriving! I can't get my kids ready fast enough in the morning to head to school...and they literally run down the hallways to their classrooms. The knowledge they are gaining, both in regard to "school" content and Judiasm is amazing.....the grandparents are beyond thrilled! The parent organizaiton works hard with the administration to make sure that working and non working families can participate in many additonal programs: Havadallah, Shabbat dinners, dances, fundraisers..there is something for everyone and your social calendar will stay full! The additional resources of the JCC make my kids feel they belong to a complete community! On bad weather days, they have access to the basketball courts, recreation station and tunnels in the building! The students have many opportunities for enrichment outside the classroom: sports, art, cooking...the options are endless. I cannot say enough great things about this program.

Our family has been so happy at the JCC Preschool. The staff is loving, caring, and professional. The director knows all the families and is warm, friendly, and responsive. There are wonderful events for families that are scheduled so that working families can attend. My children come home every day excited by what they are doing in their classes--what more can you ask for?!

Warning: You need a flexible schedule and very understanding employer if you want your child to attend this school. In addition to all of the federal holidays, the school is also closed for every Jewish Holiday, even the ones that I have never even heard of (and I'm Jewish). My son started here when he was 3 and has attended for a year and a half.
