Okay so I have absolutely no idea who decided to give this highschool high ratings. I used to go to Northern and it was so much better than here. No one teaches here other than a couple of teachers, the grading is horrible, the teachers and students are rude. I was only a week in as a student here and already had someone start a rumor behind my back, and be used as a "project" by another student because I was perceived as "weird". I only stayed at this school for 2 months before switching to online due to how insufferable this school was. Not to mention this school is actively setting me up for failure. They failed me in math, even though they never graded my 4th benchmark. On HAC, it says I need 33 credits to graduate which is not true, everyone else only needs 23 credits to graduate. I am a neurodivergent student who struggles with PTSD, depression, anxiety, and ADHD. This school is NOT for neurodivergent students.

We were very disappointed with this schools inability to provide individualized attention to students. There are simply too many students, not enough teachers to go around. Administrators have their hands full. No accountability. Some teachers are verbally abusive to students. Students get lost in the crowds (literally shoulder to shoulder in the hallways). The "great" reviews don't accurately depict the poor quality education students are getting. Testing Scores and college placements have gone down at this former blue ribbon school. This school was a disappointment.

This is a GREAT school. The staff is very supportive and there are TONS of extra supports in place to help students succeed. Activities abound, and there is no reason not to be involved.

All three of my children graduated from HHS. Good education and each was well prepared for college . The staff and teachers very attentive to students needs.
