This is an outstanding child care and preschool program, and we did our research. Our first child started in the original founding director was there, and our second child came when she was transitioning out and the new owners took over. While everyone loved the founder, she knew that a nonprofit like Georgetown Hill could bring the institutional organization that was needed for the center. While Covid was a challenge for all and some teachers left during that time, overall we have been super impressed by the increased level of organization and professionalism Georgetown Hill has brought. Most of the staff have stayed and the warm and wonderful spirit has remained. I don't worry about my child's safety and know she is loved and she is learning so much. The communication from teachers is exceptional; we get pictures and reports nearly every day and can easily reach the teachers and staff. The small class sizes and careful Covid precautions have made it possible for parents to work fulltime and our children to be happy, learning and safe. Cannot recommend them enough!

This school used to be excellent. The previous director was excellent and very caring. Unfortunately, the school bought out by a larger company and quality has significantly reduced. Classrooms are not full as before. Many of the great teachers have left. The remaining teachers, besides a few, are ignorant and are a disappointment. If you have a choice, don’t bring your children here.

My daughter just finished her pre-k year at this school. Great teachers, very organized, love how they care and treat every single child. My daughter loved it, she made good friends there, she is starting public school this new year, and is very sad that she has to leave her friends. I recommend this school to anyone, the director is very helpful and will always try to help out in what ever she can.

On the positive side, the director is pretty good, the facilities are pretty good, and they have some good program elements like music and dance teachers coming in. Also they did a good job with toilet training. On the down side, like a prior reviewer, I have been very disappointed with some of the teachers. We have had one who is quite good, a few who are just sort of OK, and a couple that have been terrible (e.g. lied to me, shared religious beliefs with my child, generally rude, and rarely engaged with the kids). My child has been picking up poor grammar, incorrect pronunciation, and curse words at the school. Many "small" problems have added up, leading me to move my child out of the school.

Before my son was enrolled at Greenwood, I heard so many great thing about the school. I decided to enroll him. After being on a waiting list for nearly a year, he was finally accepted but only to a great disappointment. His 2 year old class teachers are very 'uneducated'. I wonder daily how it is they got their jobs to 'teach' kids. Not only are they uneducated but are very rude and have bad attitude problems. The only good thing about the school is how involved the parents are. The director of the school is very caring and solves whatever problems come about. I would be very happy if a few teachers were replaced!! All in all, it's an okay school. I am currently searching for other schools my child can transfer to. Not very happy.
