I WENT to Deep Creek Elementary when I was in kindergarten, which was school year 2017-2018. In my personal experience, I loved my teachers and it was awesome. The problem I had during the time I was there was the bullying from the students in my class. It was so bad that a student once threw a pencil at my eye and I had to go to the nurse. The students were inappropriate at lunch and showed their “parts” under the lunch table and once in class. Once on field day a student asked a rude question while both me and the students parents were there. The students parent did nothing. The next day, my parent and their parent had a conference. This was MY experience during the time I was there. I do not know if the school has changed for the better or not.

100 it's a great school my kids attended and I worked there.

My son started attending this school last November. Since then, he has been bullied on a consistent basis. He is unhappy with the students and how they constantly picks on him with everything from his skin tone, to hair cut, to what he wears or likes to eat.They pick on him for every little thing. My son comes from Hawthorne ES where the environment was safe and both kids and the staff was excellent. I don't know what to do or how to help my child with this problem.

i was a student at this school and i will have to say that some of the teachers were not really doing a good job in bullying wise when i was in the 5th grade i had serious problems and all the teacher did was say don't do that and play it off like a joke and my math teacher refused to let me go to the nurse when i was sick and my parents had to make her let me go to the nurse and she yelled at me and i liked the school for a couple years but then when the bullying started and got worse in the 5th grade some of the teachers played it off as if it was a joke and i didn't want to go back the next day and my parents called the school and finally the teacher opened her eyes and stopped playing it off and spoke to the whole class and they left me alone after wards so i hope that it changed and i loved the sc.hool but when their was a problem sometimes they wouldn't really do anything about it and i find that unfair

Deep is good school with great teachers the school just needs more parents to get involved in their children's learning.
