I really dont recommend this school for any child. In this school teachers just assume things without looking for proof, my friend went to get water and the principal said that she was skipping without even looking at her pass when it literally said where she went. This school also has a lot of fights, and sometimes the teachers do nothing but tell them to stop.children at this school smoke , and do things that they should not be doing at this age like drugs etc . Some of the bathroom doors dont lock and the bathrooms are really dirty. Some teachers know that their students arent paying attention to the lesson because their on phones, talking, or walking around but they chose not to tell the students to pay attention or make sure they are learning . People at this school bully and fight others for something really stupid, a lot of people say Racist things to other students, a lot of people here dont care for others and how they might feel, I hope this school will get better for children in the future.

When my daughter went to the elementary school, she was excelling in all her classes with As and Bs. By the second semester of this school, her grades had drastically dropped to Ds! Theres not much control in the classrooms. The students pretty much do whatever they want and disrupt the classes and it keeps the teachers from teaching and other students from learning. Theres also a bullying problem and my daughter has told me that students were having sex in the bathrooms! This is the worst school! I had to pull my child out and home school! Since I have done that, shes back to earning As and Bs. I would not recommend this school.

I love this school but it is very bad my child told me that she warn the teacher these boys were about to fight at all he said was "guys it not worth fighting" he didn't even move them apart i thought this was a good school but now it is bad please don't go to this school

Terrible! If it wasn't a magnet school, ZERO good kids would go there!! It has gotten better in last 2 years but still bad and the principal is a joke. Has a hug a thug attitude. These bad kids don't need babying, they need discipline and guidance and firmer approach. Most have zero home discipline so they don't know any better. Most have parents who throw $800 phones at child to appease child. Parents don't care about their child's attendance nor grades until 8th grade graduation and their 'baby' can't graduate. Most magnet kids transfer out within weeks of enrolling due to thefts, assaults, and bullying. Park across street from school and watch kids. You will quickly see. Worse school I have ever been to.

Bluntly, the great students (10%) understand and get it but the terrible students (90%) don't care. For them, it's about dressing sexually and having the newest cell phone!

The kids in the school are completely outrageous, the teachers have no control because almost every student is doing what they want. They can't even teach, it's like babysitting kids that wont listen. Yes the staff need to gain control but parents also need to step up and be more envolved. I hate that my son has to go to this school, we are currently looking for a new home.

This school gets zero stars from me...my daughter has been bullied for the whole 2013-1014 year and she is in 6th grade! My daughter and I filed a bully complaint and the only thing that happened is she got detention for defending her self. This is by far the worst school my child to attend. The Magnet Program does not make the school any better. I feel sorry for any child who as to go here. This school, the kids and the staff is thee worst!!!!
