10 years ago, we found White Flint Children’s House for our oldest daughter. She immediately liked the place and had three wonderful years there. She developed strong reading and math skills and also made friends that she still spends time with. Now our two younger children are also in WFCH. During COVID, we saw the loss of some teachers and programs, but the school has rebuilt most of them in the last year or so. Our 6 year old is in the kindergarten program. The teachers and the programs helped her overcome the social-emotional challenges brought on by COVID, and gain the same confidence and strong academic skills her sister had. Our 2 year old has been in the toddler program since he was 18 months, and also seems to really enjoy the company of his teachers and friends. Ms Margaret, the head of the school is the most dedicated teacher / administrator I have ever met! The school also has a very diverse student body and many kids with multiracial / multicultural background. We believe that 3-6 years are the most critical years in a person’s development, and we feel lucky to have found WFCH for our kids.

I have two kids at WFCH. One of them has been there for 5 years and the second is making their way through as well. We have stayed so long, including the Capstone year (Kindergarten) given the really wonderful experience we've had there. My child comes home with more facts and information than I probably know today! The Montessori education is really beyond words, and they are an accredited program, which means they went through a very rigorous process in order to achieve that. Ms. Margaret, the head of the school, has been there for 28+ years and it shows as they have things really well ordered. The school facility itself is nice and large with a dedicated gym/open space where kids have ample space to run around and play. They put on really amazing events that include all the families (mother's day, father's day, valentine's day breakfasts, etc). The school feels like a community and we have made some really good friend's there ourselves as parents in addition to the kids themselves. I cannot say enough about this school and the joy it has brought in our life. Our kids teachers really care about their students and their well being and I've never felt more comfortable. They spend long days at school and I know they are in good hands. Hands down best experience!

Our experience at White Flint Children’s house has been great. Our children started from the toddler class to Kindergarten.
It is a very nice diverse community. The staffs are very supportive and genuinely care about the development of the students. The academic program is really good and helped our children transition into elementary school easily.

As a parent, I recently enrolled my two toddlers at WFCH, and I have been extremely pleased with their experience. My older child is preparing to transition into the Early Childhood program, and I am amazed at the progress he has made under the guidance of Mrs. Carmen, his dedicated teacher. Her commitment to getting to know each child and preparing them for the next level is commendable. As a teacher myself, I understand the importance of educators who genuinely love and care for their students, and WFCH embodies that ethos.

I have been thoroughly impressed with the leadership at WFCH, with Ms. Margaret as the Head of the school and Mrs. Vinda as the administrator. They run the school like a well-oiled machine, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication with parents. The family events hosted by the school have been wonderful, providing opportunities for the community to come together and bond.

The Montessori curriculum at WFCH is spot on, fostering a love for learning while allowing children to develop at their own pace. I have witnessed firsthand how my children are not only growing academically but also forming meaningful friendships. The supportive and nurturing environment at WFCH has surpassed my expectations.

To all parents considering WFCH, I strongly recommend scheduling a tour to see the school in action. It's an exceptional place where children can thrive and parents can feel confident in their child's education.

I cannot say enough good things about WFCH. The teachers are excellent, the montessori classrooms and curriculum are excellent, and the director (Ms. Margaret) is a force of nature. Most importantly, hey have done nothing short of a spectacular job navigating the pandemic, always erring on the side of keeping our kids safe. My daughters wake up excited to go there every day.

This is not just a school, this is a community that is devoted to making this world a better place by instilling strong values, top level education, and a sense of purpose into each of their students.

The school does not develop social-emotional awareness in the young children, or teach social skills which are so important at this age. I have had to help my daughter navigate how to play with her peers and deal with her feelings, because her teachers don't model it, and seem focused only on academic progress.

Our experience with the director of the school has been terrible, and has sadly ruined our perception of the quality of the school. In all my dealings with her, it has been one miscommunication or unresolved issue after another. Her dishonesty had me so frustrated I had to complain to the owners of the school. Our friends with children in the same school have also complained to the owners. She treats the teachers terribly. The turn-over rate of teachers is very high - each year one of my daughter's head teachers left and we were left with a new teacher that didn't know the kids. For a Montessori school, that is sad! We are definitely not returning next year!

I have sent two of my sons to WFCH for the past three years and couldn't be happier EVERYTHING about this school. We moved to Rockville from out of state and after trying out another daycare center settled on WFCH. I am so glad we found it. The principal is a kind, warm person who truly cares about all the students and families. The other administrators are equally helpful and generous with both their time and attention. The teachers are second to none - they are so talented and gifted in their leadership and my sons are so happy each and every day when we drop them off. My husband and I also love the facility - the classrooms are always neat, tidy and while we wish the playground was a little bigger, the school makes up for it with a large gym on the second floor. They have so much great programming - including a fall potluck cook-out, a "sweetheart breakfast" for parents on Valentine's Day, a special event for Mother's Day and Father's Day, diversity night in June, to name a few. We're really so grateful for everything WFCH has given our boys these past three years and couldn't give a stronger recommendation.

The school head only cares about money. Montessori is just a word she uses to make money. If you want to get quality childcare, stay away from WFCH and stay away from this school head. She just tries to jam as many students as she could in a tiny place and count the money.

This school has proven to be the most close knit, open, and comfortable school that we have had our son attend to. The administrative staff is always upbeat and open for any discussions as well as the teachers are. I greatly appreciate the time the administrative staff takes to send out weekly newsletters to every family to keep everyone up to date with the latest. I also appreciate how the teachers will take time to speak with you about your child's progress. The school is very diverse which they put a lot of emphasis on and was wonderful to have our son learn about and be exposed to the different cultures around him. The interior of the school has a warm, homey feeling to it. From the paint colors to the ample sunlight shining through the floor to ceiling windows in each room, this school was made to make anyone feel at home. The restrooms for the children are designed specifically for the children, with toilet seats well low enough for them to use and secure step stools to reach the sinks with ease. Our son enjoyed his Spanish, art, movement, and music sessions within the school. Thank you, White Flint for making it a memorable school year for us.
