Word’s can’t express how grateful I am to have found One World Preschool. It is such a nurturing environment, incredible staff, a strong focus on education, and affordable. Can't say enough good things.

10/10 it’s definitely one of the best daycares in the area and it’s walking distance from my apartment!

One of the best, family owned and operated Childcare facility in the neighborhood. Immaculately clean, secure with two large playgrounds for Preschoolers. Employs two full time cleaning staff who keep the facility spotlessly clean. Accepts all state and county subsidy programs.

The teachers bullies kids and the students do it as well because of what they have seen them do to students

Posted: July 28, 2019

They don’t give the kids anything to do but watch television all day. That’s all my kids have learned was the name of tv shows.

Posted: July 28, 2019

All they do is put your kids in time out

They are terrible in teaching the children here

I don't know why everyone didn't give 5 stars. One World is GREAT, by far the best my son has been to. It's clean, affordable and most importantly, SAFE. You have to ring to get in, which I think every daycare should implement. The teachers at One World are incredible and the environment is good. I have no complaints!! I've sent my son here for a little over a year and I don't have any plans on switching him over to any other center, especially since One World is the obvious choice over the other subpar, scary daycares in the area. The only thing I would say is that sometimes, it takes a minute for the door to be opened. But other than that, it's perfect.

I struggled with leaving this review, but felt compelled to after my experience there. What's unfortunate about this daycare, is the most of the teachers are some of the most caring I've encountered. I can genuinely say that MOST of them care a great deal for the children there.
What this school lacks is structure, and the Director, while she means well, seems to have problems with managing the day to day operations of the school a great deal.
As other reviewers have stated, many children can be be seen wondering the halls unattended. There have been several instances when my own son has wondered out of the classroom during drop off unbeknownst to the teachers in the room. Perhaps the most disheartening part of this daycare is the ever present ratio problem. Even though it looks like it's an issue the Director seems to be trying to improve, there is always instances where I find the teacher;student ratio in the infant room WAY off. Sometimes it seems like teachers are more occupied with cleaning up the room at the end of the day, instead of making sure the classroom is adequetly covered.
When kids are out on the playground, teachers adn staff are ALWAYS seen using their phones and not watching the kids. I want to mention that there was never an instance where a kid got hurt (at least not my son), but it's never a good feeling when you see kids playing and adults on the phone texting or reading.
Perhaps the bane of my existence at this center is the sudden price hike earlier this year. With barely at 2 week warnign, the Director announced that prices would increase. Probably well within her right, but 2 week notice? The Director can often times be seen studying for medical exams at the front desk. And if she's not available, then tough luck! THere was never a clear lesson plan dictated by the teachers that i've seen at other schools. I can't tell you how many times I would see the teacher playing cartoons or showing a movie on the tv in the mornings. Why am I paying hundreds of dollars for you to sit my kid in front of the TV? I could do that at home for free! Hardly anyone at the front desk. I hate to leave this review, but I think parents need to know. For the money you're paying, this daycare could provide so much more. Again the teachers are phenominal. But the director does them all a disservice with the management problems. I would not recommend.

Terrific staff and facilities. This day care is the best when it comes to serving the the community, which uses the county and state funded day care. This day care has one of longest hours of any other day care around. 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., without an additional charge.

This is a really nice place. My daughter attended this school recently and she always looks forward to coming in every day. Her teachers, Ms. Zahida and Ms. Areeba are both wonderful and very professional. My daughter always brings back stories of the day. The classroom is always clean and well kept. I would recommend this facility to anyone.

Stay away. I thought the school was great in the beginning but learned quickly that there needs to be more to a school than a good price and good location. They always have kids roaming the halls, teachers leave kids in the rooms alone while they go open the "locked" front door. They don't provide access cards to the parents without having to pay for the card. Multiple times I have stood outside with my child in the weather (hot, cold, rain) waiting for someone to come to the door...again, the teacher is having to leave the room unattended to come answer the door. Multiple times I have come into the class room and inappropriate music is playing. I am paying the school to help prepare my child for life, not just sit around and miss all the learning opportunities that present themselves in the day. I could hire a 16 year old who would do a better job and be more interactive with my child. I am looking for a new school and as soon as I find it, I am removing my child. I suggest a parent not take their kids to this school. It is unsafe and not trustworthy. I checked and I can't believe there has never been an investigation open on them because it really is that bad.

My daugher attended this school only for a few months when I got deployed. She started attending at age 4 and will be done this year to move on to kindergarten. I can't say anything about ALL the teachers in this school but I do know that my daughter's teacher is a wonderful teacher. She has taught my daughter so much that I was amazed when I returned from my deployment. She is also very nice, yet strict, and she is very warm with the kids, although she has a no-nonsense personality. This is so wonderful for kids this age. My daugher has had nothing negative to say about her teacher. I however do think there are some kids in the school generally who are a little out there and I constantly have to teach/tell my daughter not to copy them.
