This school has a music teacher that yells at the kids all day like he hates his jobs and all of the kids complain about him not sure how hes still a teacher. This school is one sided and offer any help to the kids that is being bullied by other kids and they dont hold all parties accountable. I really dont trust this school and I dont plan on keeping my kids enrolled for long.

Good school with good teaches and security. I feel safe taking my child to this school. Like all schools parents need to be involved to give their child the best education. Overall Im satisfied.

The assigned homework doesn't seem to be overwhelming or excessive in duration or requirements.

There seems to be some difficulty maintaining good order and discipline in the classes. Perhaps there is an imbalance with the student:teacher balance.

The teachers DO try. However, without consistency on all fronts to include parenting/community, it is impossible to expect that the teachers would be able to establish and/or maintain these characteristics or moral compass - especially when their authority in the classroom is eroded by the environment outside.

With recent changes in school leadership, it is unclear as of yet whether the changes that have been implemented are for the better. There is talk that the staff is unhappy with the changes, more specifically with the reasoning and intractable decision making. It remains to be seen as to whether that is of benefit to the students.

Although I see plenty of anti-bullying paraphenalia and my child has discussed coursework that's been presented, it doesn't seem to resonate or make any dent in what behavior is actually being displayed. My daughter was chased, knocked down, and stabbed in the knee with a pencil due to inattention by the teacher. Teacher wasn't even aware of the incident until *I* mentioned it. The end result was a text apology, and no further action that I'm aware of.

We have been blessed with a bright child, and we are engaged in ensuring her education is thorough. Ms Hooper, her Pre-K teacher was wonderful. Subsequent teachers aren't quite on her level.

McCormick Elementary is one of the finest schools I've had the privilage to associated with. My daughter is learning so fast. So much knowledge gained in such a few short years.
