The school is a treasure. The pandemic was difficult for every school system because no one was prepared for virtual learning. Mt.Pleasant suffered some bumps in the road but their students were still successful learners. No student was passed on because of the situation. The school's high academic standards were upheld. Their slogan says it all: "Awakening the genius in each child".

1. I have tried to give this school a chance for two years to keep from transitioning my child to a new environment. He continues to be emotionally battered by his teacher and staff, despite straight A's all year and having two family members hospitalized unexpectedly. No sympathy, and I was told my child didn't "deserve" an honor roll certificate for his hard work all year before the tragic events in our family

Challenging curriculum, small class size, weekly progress reports, faith based, outstanding!

Please do not be deceived by the previous reviews. This school does not prepare students for middle school or high school. They have small class sizes however the curriculum is outdated and the students are definitely behind their counterparts in public school. They learn world language through software and no teacher. The grading system is unfair and cannot be justified if you try to transfer your child to another school. My child had attended this school since K4 and nothing has changed but the tuition. The enrollment has gone down and I wouldn't be surprised if it were closed soon. Their principles and ideas are antiquated and they try to justify it through the bible. The principal is very "sometimey" and only speaks when she feels like it. Everyone is not treated fairly . The staff is also very under qualified and could use some professional development. This school could be great if they changed leadership. I am very displeased and would not recommend this school. . The Parent association is very clickish and do not welcome all parents. Please do not believe the sign out front if the school that promises the best because they can't offer it. Hope this helps because it's true!!

challengingin academic programs!! Excellent Teachers!! Strong principal Dr. Haynes is dedicated to the students and thoroughly involved in helping to educate, nurture and foster an academic excellent environment for geniuses. It is a wonderful school. I love it. There is a lot of homework and projects for the students which aids in keeping their brains stimulated and growing.
