Yo this school is okay but everyone here either do drugs or drink (not me) and everybody at this school is literally opps cause tell me why I have so many argument this year alone which is crazy cause tell me why at my old school I never argue everyone was nice to me but suddenly when I came here I lost like 20 friends. and most of the staff its chill but not all of them. its also weird how I saw one of the safety assistant (maybe?) using slurs and curse words and acting like they are friends with the students its so weird cause why are they trying to be friend little kids mind you they are possibly 22 minimum. I have more to say about this school but I accidentally closed the tab..

The teachers get away with borderline humiliating students. When students bring these issues to other staff, they are gaslit and insulted into believing they are in the wrong.
The school villainizes students with mental health issues then decides to decorate the school for suicide prevention month and mental health awareness month which is truly disturbing.
Do not come here, if you have the option to go somewhere else, go there.

This is a charter school that brings in kids from the inner city of Baltimore. Most kids hate it there. There's always a fight or several.
A robbery happened last year at the homecoming game by a student. Most of the students carry weapons and are vaping (not just tobacco) and no one seems to do anything about it. Don't send your kids here!

Confusion and lack of responsibility were the general theme of this school for the 4 years that I was a student, happy to be finally free!

10/10, as with every public high school it has its typical problems. Other than that this 2020 Overlea is NICE! The Overlea from previous decades is non existent.

I am in the enrollment process for my niece to attend Overlea High for the 2014 school year. Since she's my niece and I do not have custody, I had a few extra steps to take to enroll her, however, I executed well on all the requirements, but it seemed as though things were going too well for one individual, who at the last minute through a wrench in the progress and pulled others into her mess. She called me rude, yelled at me, then stormed out of the difficult conversation she started. Needless to say, after all the hurdles and due diligence on my part, I'm still waiting to confirm my niece's enrollment and instructions.

Overlea is the best school you can go to, if you are looking for a sense of community! The teachers care about the students and work overtime to help them out!
