I wish there was 0 starts vote,Overall this school is very unsafe,kids bring many weapons and bad things into that school,there is fights almost everyday going on,special education kids are laughed at and teased about,and they is bulling and cyber bulling,Many kids in the 6th and 7th grade enter the school and exit the school smoking/vaping,Many kids at the school should not even be there,there are many kids who just go to the school to play in the halls and just to be with the others kids,and at the end they past the kids without hardwork

Vanguard is a school that is actively working with parents to uplift the habits of mind of its students. The leadership is focused and friendly. They implement school wide learning goals that set a tone of friendly competition, and encourage school wide participation. This school actively recruits energetic and creative teachers with an eye towards progressive education, collaborative teaching models, and a commitment to strengthening the relationship between parents, teachers, and the students' academic progress.
Vanguard is consistently adding enrichment classes like dance, Spanish and providing enrichment clubs like art club, writing club, summer blog camps, and mindfulness practices.
Vanguard offers a variety of athletic opportunities including football, basket ball, kickball, girls and boys La cross, soccer without boarders.

I had a good experience. My child was allowed to participate in robotics, chess and several trips to new places.

The homework was a review of class lessons. Students were able to resubmit or hand in assignments later is necessary. Late assignments were not given full credit.

The teachers were in constant communication via Jupitergrades and kept me aware if his progress.

They had an administrator at every grade. Were always available to meet with or without an appointment.

We were always able to go to coach class after school. Some classes had two teachers in the classroom.

This school has no structure all they wanna do is place children with his academic levels and behavioral classes instead of working with them.

These teachers don't wanna see children do well it's not all the teachers but if you see a child with a great iq why not push harder for them

I'm not sure because my son is highly intelligent but they won't allow him to use his ability because they do worried about his behavior
