I miss this school so much. My current school is horrible. Even though lots of the teachers I had at that school dont work there anymore. From the things I have heard from my friends say that it is still a great school. I LOVE MY BDF FAM

I miss is school so much! I went to this school last school year and it was really fun! The students are nice and the teachers care a lot about their students! The principal is really sweet and nice too! Even though the subs are kind of mean some times they can still be nice! I loved creative arts at that school! They had P.E. , Drama/Theater,Dance,Art, Music , and Computer.

Honestly, the school is excellent, but some teachers and students are mean. Some teachers make jokes that hurt students' feelings. Some students don't respect other people and other teachers. Lots of people who went to this school left. Some positives are they give students fun opportunities like dance, theatre, and more. When you get to middle school there is a thing called majors you get to pick what creative arts you practice.

Honestly, I think this school is fine but some teachers, subs, and students are rude the only emotional. Support comes from the actual students and students throw chairs when they get mad but compared to other schools this school is excellent and many of the good teachers and counselors left because of too little pay. And rude students there are wonderful teachers and I love my grade BUT there is too much drama in this school on the first week of school there was a fight and someone in my school had to leave because of it. and I hate it this school has more drama the Hailey biber and Selena Gomez.

I sent my kids to this school because in the past this school was amazing to gifted and artistic children. Since they have been in that school the school has gone through 3 principals and multiple teachers and counselors left the school. Although they speak about their no bullying policy . My child and others are consistently being bullied and the teachers are turning a blind eye. So much so that they refuse to call what is happening bullying . They say its just kids being kids. The teachers don't like it when a child is consistently reporting the bullying and tries to manipulate the children by telling them that maybe its them. That maybe they are the reason for why they are being bullied. When "action" is taken they promise to send the kids to counseling etc... but these are blank promises. Every meeting that I have attended in regards to bullying I had to call it. I have had issues with how the teachers communicate with these children as if these babies are adults and when they report something the teachers act as if though they have a personal problem with them. There was a recent incident where a teacher was talking out the side of their mouth to a child and the child called her mom on her watch phone and heard everything. When she arrived at the school the teacher attempted to lie . There has been multiple complaints about the teachers and the VP. No disciplinary action is ever taken out on the teachers from what I know. All they do is say the kid is lying and the teachers get a pass. It has come down to the students having to record these teachers like the police just to be believed. If you took a poll of the children in the school I'm sure they would have a different outlook than what is being reported by the staff . This school used to be top tier. Its gone way downhill. The school lunches are almost not edible there are so many issues here and they are being swept under the rug for whatever reason.

My daughter actually had some problems when she first started there in 3rd grade. When I notified the counselor, she not only dealt with the mean girls, she helped my daughter adjust to the new school. She is now in 6th grade and is doing great academically and socially.

The principal is awesome! Very personable and approachable. Calls students and parents by their name and really listens to concerns.

I have 3 children currently attending this school. They have been there for about 3 years now. Each year has honestly gotten better and better. The teachers, staff, and prinicpal are the best we have experienced in Prince Georges county. I am so grateful they will all be able to attend through 8th grade.

This school is TOP NOTCH! The teachers are amazing and go above and beyond to help the kids succeed. This is my daughter's first year here and she has excelled beyond my wildest expectations! The extra classes (drama, music, choir, art, and dance) have brought out things in my daughter that I never knew existed. She is only in 3rd grade but has decided on becoming a "dance major" and is looking forward to getting back to school next year! I wish everyone's child could attend a school as AMAZING as this one!!!

WE LOVE THIS SCHOOL! My son has attended BFCPA since 3rd grade and he's in 7th now. Great teachers, great students and GREAT performing arts program!

I auditioned into benjamin D foulois in 6th grade as a dance major and i was terrified , but in that same week i made many new friends so fast and i loved my teachers ! The teachers are AWSOME and we have lots of talent !! We have amazing showcases and performances from our arts program and we take our education seriously !! I strongly advise if you have a talent in the Arts , come here !! Students in grades K-5 come in through lottery , while students 6-8 have to audition !
