I have had one child go K-5 and another currently in 2nd grade. This school is phenomenal. Not only do the teachers do a magnificent job in educating the kids on the subjects they are being taught, but nearly every teacher, admin or PTA member spend a lot of time encouraging kindness, empathy and understanding. I believe that a kind heart leads to a glorious life and the staff a RPES goes above and beyond those important things that don't live inside of a textbook. Both of my children were never resistant to going to school every morning, which is a testament to the wonderful environment that is Red Pump Elementary School.

As a person who has gone to Red Pump Elementary School, I don't think that the student got what they needed to excel in learning. the teachers were nice, but I feel I didn't get the attention that I needed to learn in that environment. After graduating I went to a new school that had smaller class sizes, teachers that got to know their students better and taught there students way better. The education needs to be better, and some students are learning inside of portable learning pods.

Overall its been a great experience. The PTA is very overzealous and a tad bit disorganized and cliquish but the schools seems to be great. The kids love it. There is not alot of diversity at this school.

This was our first year at the school and the Back to School Orientation was very overwhelming. Imagine 700 kids and their parents/grandparents all in one space. It was overwhelming. I brought my concerns to the principal and she made adjustments for there to be a New Family Orientation. The separate gathering was very helpful for all those new to the school and the county. The principal is very responsive.

The gifted and talented program was not impressive. There are no test scores provided to the parents and my child was NOT challenged. Additional work in smaller groups was provided in the "enrichment" groups. That was not what was expected.

The school does have a sensory room for children on the higher spectrum of special needs.

Both of the principals are the most hands-on principals I have ever had the pleasure of meeting and working with. Being apart of this school district for my entire schooling career, I attended and have visited a very high number of different schools in the county, and Mrs. Holly, the principal, is the most caring, attentive, and understanding principal I have ever met.

My eldest child was bullied the first few days of school for their haircut at the time. The teacher effectively and efficiently put an end to the teasing the moment she heard of the problem, and my child has not had any bullying issues since.

My experience with Red Pump has been nothing short of spectacular. From the principal, to the special area teachers, down to the janitorial staff, every single member of the staff is incredible.

Wonderful school with great teachers and an excellent principal! The teachers truly care about the students, and find effective ways to communicate with each child on their level. Highly recommended!
