Nia Imani Academy of Excellence

My son attends the Academy. He started out as being very quiet and withdrawn. He did not like school. Now, after attending the school for two terms, he is more outspoken and participates freely in classroom discussions. He is even more confident. And, now school is not as much of a chore for him. He wants to go to school! Thanks, Nia Imani Academy of Excellence for all you do!

We started looking for a school this year that would meet the needs of our children and accommodate their learning styles, also hoping for smaller class sizes for more one-on-one interaction with the teachers than they were getting. We were lucky enough to find what we were looking for so close to our home. In the short time they have been attending this school we have seen a tremendous improvement in each one of them academically, and they love going to school! We couldn't ask for more, the staff are very attentive to the children and we as parents really enjoy being so involved in their school life. The children are obviously their highest priority which is hard to find these days.

Nia Imani Academy of Excellence is a great school because we spend time on the whole child. We do not just help them academically; we help them spiritually, emotionally, socially, and physically. We believe that all these things work together to make a well-rounded child and a more prepared child for college and the workforce. We believe in teaching them Christian values to support character building. We also believe in individualized instruction because each child's educational needs are different.

My son is a 5th grade student at the academy. When he began at the school he had low confidence, he struggled with both reading and math. As a parent I was worried that he would never be able to obtain the skills he needed. But thanks to God first, and the tremendous time, attention and care that he recieves daily he is really getting it! He not only understands what he is learning but he is enjoying it! I am so so proud of him and he is even more proud of himself! If I had to measure his improvement it would be 100% If I had to calculate the value, I would say its PRICELES! Thank you Nia Imani Academy for giving my son a chance at life!
