Very happy with Sparrows Point. My son is part of the magnet program and it has been amazing. He has made friends, and the teachers have been so supportive. I am so happy this is the school my son chose. The community also shows up for the school. It has a small town high-school vibe.

I went there. It was bigoted, lots of physical, verbal, and emotional abuse; the teachers were poor for the most part. I would not let my child go there.

I absolutely love Sparrows Point High School. It is on the smaller side even though it houses the SPECIES magnet program and there are students from all over Baltimore County, it is still a very community oriented school. The music program is very good, offering students classes in chorus and instrumental music. Students have the opportunity to learn guitar and the school even provides one for use to learn and practice with. Private lessons would be very expensive. The teachers are always willing to help students excel and offer after school assistance if needed.
