the school is pretty bad because a lot the people vape,theres fights. people bully speacial kids. its overerall a bad school. dont bring your kids here and the parents that say its good is because they dont see what really happens.

My student is in the 1% minority of minorities. Racially my student has had no negative interactions and is getting out of the school what they put in.

1. This is the first year for my student: my student reported that the first day was a 9 out of 10.
2. Recently, the students had the opportunity to change classes; my student sees this as a positive due to some of the students in class with them not being interested in the class content and distracting from the learning process by doing other things.

1. My current concern is that my student's ability to use the restroom when needed has been voiced to me as the parent.
-The policy has trust issues regarding students' time management and the need to relieve themselves or adjust to a growing body, which I see as a distractor to learning.

Getting a teacher conference is a joke and thus trusting authority is difficult.

My experience has been poor. The line of communication from parents to any staff is stagnant.

Meh. It was ok. Lunch could me better. But the teachers are out of control. They constantly yell all the darn time. and its pretty difficult to learn. And WAY to much drama.

Teacher to student ratio is an average of 13 to 1. The teachers are wonderful and I feel as though they really care about the true interest of the students academics as well as their personal well-being. Great community school very diverse and a well organized atmosphere. All the students seem to be very engaged in and inter-active in their studies

It's my 7th graders first year at Corkran. It is also her first year on an OWL. At her previous school she struggled. It was a larger school ans she just got lost in the large student body. Corkran is a much smaller school and she has really done well. She has brought her grades up from mostly Ds and Es (core classes, not specials). To 1 C and the rest As and Bs. She doesn't have any issues as some of the other reviews of "bad kids". It's a normal middle school. There are kids that are testing their boundaries but the staff seems to be on top of it. I'm so glad we switched to corkran
