I would rate my experience a 10. As the leadership supports the needs of the students.

From what I've seen, they just recently had an anti-bullying parade at the school.

My daughter participates in most of the events the school has. They are also Title 1 and we attend alot of the Judy Center events. We (my husband and I) are very involved and communicate with the school staff multiple times a week. The only negative thing I have is that the receptionist at the front desk could be a little more polite. I thought the first time she was just having a bad day, which is understandable, but shes beyond rude all of the time.

Great teachers and great staff! My only request is that more attention be paid to the IEP needs of students. Students should not have to wait an entire school year to receive services.

I agree poor leadership. They need to assess their negative attitudes towards parents it makes them appear unprofessional and ill prepared to do their job. Teachers are great though!

My daughter has been going to this school since kindergarten and is now finishing 2nd grade. I love the staff and teachers and have never had a problem. Would be nice to have the school renovated as its fairly old, possibly add more gym time and or sports as there is not enough fitness. Would be gat to add a gym and keep the cafeteria a cafeteria.

I feel this school administration is VERY UNRESPONSIVE to parents. The feel that you as a proactive parent get is that your help and input is not needed, wanted, or appreciated. This is evident in the negative attitude of leadership within the school. It appears that leadership feels it is ok to bully parents and staff into submission. The unresponsiveness to parents is also evident in the fact that there is low parent attendance to the small amount of school meetings which are held. Parents do not feel welcomed. There is very little done to establish a trusting relationship between parents and school administration. There is very little transparency. For example many parents have no idea what is going on with their children at the school. I would recommend this administration to take courses in developing interpersonal skills so that there are able to communicate with parents in a more positive manner

I am not satisfied with this school. My children loved, I repeat loved going to school until a couple of weeks into the school year they started at Dr. Mudd. They do not make it a friendly environment to learn. Some of the teachers as well as the office personnel do not have a very welcoming attitude towards the parents. I have also had great experience with some of the teachers but there are several school employees that treat you like you are beneath them, get annoyed when you ask a question or suggest something. If I had a choice, another option I would transfer my children.
