As a mother of a student with disabilities my experience with this school has been terrible. Their attitude towards the mother has been one of little tolerance or acceptance.

There are few good teachers and the science department is bad. Most teachers are rude and lazy.

Most teacher don’t care about their students enough, don’t update grades, and just give busy work. Some of them don’t teach and the science department is almost all awful. Two of the science teachers talk bad about their students all the time and are rude for no reason. They don’t teach us either.

I'm a 1989 Gradute who was All-County that year in Basketball, (1st Team), Orchestra, & Chorus. I'm a 1986 State Football Champion. I graduated from DeSales University, (Reg. Champion there in basketball), worked with global industry leading companies for 20 years, and I serve and mentor by coaching since 2007. I have a son who graduated in '15 who's working, attending HCC, and financing a car. I have a 9th grader there now who enjoys being challenged in academics and sports. H de G is preparing him for college/life at the next level. The entire staff has HEART! My Experience was priceless. Greg Ware....May God have the glory! GO WARRIORS!!

Yes it is true if you child wants to do well they will. But, that being said, I feel that the school is not great. Our daughter was allowed to make up homework repeadedly even though she didnt deserve to. This was in about four classes. Teachers would use foul language in the class room. The chemistry class final allowed the kids to us there notes.....PLEASE!!!! Is this teaching kids any kind of responsibility and do they think there college professors are going to allow this. It is only setting them up to fail big time.

If your child has support from home, and wants to do well, they will do very well in this school. Excellent peer groups are available here if your child is active and involved academically and/or with Sports. Im very happy we chose this school over John Carroll. Our children are well adjusted intelligent future leaders.
