Worst school in my entire life, fights daily, shelter in place/hold almost every week, ONE bathroom open in the entire school for every grade level (same bathroom for every grade btw), teachers can be rude, FORCED uniform policies in a PUBLIC school, the principle must not know what he is doing based off all of this stuff.

The students are all rude, constant fighting and discrimination, bullying based off hight weight and other things.

PLEASE save anyone you can by telling them to NEVER go to this school

And none of this is ment to be defamatory for as my experience here is terrible and this is essentially the exact truth of this school

School is fine, I'm a previous student, usually we don't learn anything I could js be on my phone all day without the teachers knowing, a lot of fights, kids would jump other kids for no reason, alot of people vaping and smoking in the bathrooms, once even the police came because someone was selling drugs

My son is in the STEM program at Lindale the last 2years. I just want to say we have had a very positive experience so far. The teachers are amazing very supportive and challenging. My son has enjoyed his friends at this school. The uniform rocks it makes our life simple no complaints on that all school should have uniforms. Education happens in school save the fashion show for outside of school. I have not had any personal dealings with Mr.Nash but from what I hear he does not tolerate bad behavior. He seems to hold the kids to a higher level I wish I could say this for all schools.

This school is definetly not one of the best. The teachers, and the program (STEM) is decent, but the rest is horrible. School activities are not interesting, infact, math class is much better. The school lunch isn't very good, but at least it's edible. Bullying is literally everywhere. My hispanic friend was slapped on her butt from one of the males in gym. She told the teacher, but they didn't do a single thing. Lindale needs to make a better community in order for it to become a better school.

Many students write anything down whether it makes sense or not and teachers are required to give them full credit.

Posted: January 4, 2019

Many discipline problems are not addressed effectively which greatly hampers the learning environment. The teachers are trying their best but there are too many disruptions to keep the students focused on the instruction.

Posted: January 4, 2019

The principal is pathetic and only one assistant principal is somewhat effective.

Posted: September 25, 2018

Posted: September 25, 2018

This school sucks don't know why my parents have made the stupid decision to send me here

Posted: September 25, 2018

They don't go over it and have you do it again when forgot it and its not even due yet

Posted: September 25, 2018

At times I couldn't get help cause "something came up" and they don't care at all

Posted: September 25, 2018

They don't have manners and acts like prince's and princesses

Posted: September 25, 2018

They won't at all stop bullying or any thing at all they act stupid and don't help at all

Posted: September 25, 2018

Don't know really but they do help at times

Posted: June 15, 2018

Principal puts stuff off on to the Assistant Principal and he could care less and only investigated after I called and gave him an unpleasant earful, but still no resolution 2 months later.

Posted: June 15, 2018

Overall our experience was good. Never had an issues until about 2 months before the end of my sons 8th grade year. The school had a fire drill and some 6th grade kid without proper home training decided he would jump over the railing in the stair well and ended up kicking my son in his face and breaking his glasses. Nothing was done until I called and lit into the Assistant Principal and he finally investigated the situation. But he still was not trying to get a resolution instead he just kept pushing us off as it was the end of the school year. Every time I call to speak to the Assistant Principal he is unavailable.

They never solve bullying problems caused by the same bullies over and over. They are aware of the problem, no doubt but try their best to sweep it under the rug and ignore it, causing other students to feel very unsafe in that school

Posted: September 26, 2016

Posted: September 26, 2016

Bullies are not dealt with in a way that the bullying stops, and students who continue to cause trouble are not expelled

Posted: September 26, 2016

Posted: September 26, 2016

I only put Agree for a certain number of the teachers we have dealt with. I would say about 60% of them have been really great. 40% not so much. The strings teacher was so so so awful to the students and made the class so boring that my son dropped playing violin the next year after having taken it and loved it since 3rd grade.

Posted: September 26, 2016

My son's math course gives him homework every weeknight, but that homework has nothing to do with what is being covered in class.

Posted: September 26, 2016

Bullies, bullies, bullies, and more bullies. No one does anything to control them. They bully kids right in front of teachers and the teachers do nothing. The same kids cause trouble and are sent to the office over and over and even suspended over and over, but never expelled. HOW and WHY is that ????????

Posted: September 7, 2016

Posted: September 7, 2016

My child was assaulted but since other child didn't admit it school did nothing. My child doesn't feel safe

Posted: September 7, 2016

Pulling my kid out of Lindale only the 2nd week into 7th grade. My child was assaulted but the principle and vice principle said nothing they can do without witnesses if the other child does not admit to hitting my child, my kids gym uniform was stolen the first week and the first day he takes a new gym outfit in someone steals it right in front of him and I had to raise hell to get it back because that child was trying to claim they were his. It appears the staff can not do anything to help the innocent children as long as bullies do not admit to their wrong doing. The students are running the school there. Sure seems like everyone since it became a stem school and they started busing kids in from other districts it all went downhill. They have uniforms and do not enforce any other school policies. I have went to the board of ed to complain. My child does not feel safe at school and that's sad. It seems like it should be a baltimore city school at this rate. Do not send your child here. Run!

Posted: December 9, 2015

horrid teachers for the most part just a pay check for 95% of them . and some of the policies like keeping your child out of class and from learning because they wore a hoody over the uniform that by the way was voted on by the out going class how does that work just shows how mixed up there since of teaching is

Lindale has recently become a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) magnet school, in addition to implementing a uniform policy. I've been inside during instructional times, and have looked into classrooms to see engaged, well mannered, respectful students being led by professional teachers and staff. Wonderful communication with families and exemplary support of students! Very confident in the public education my children receive here!

Posted: December 7, 2013

my school is not the best sorry but Lindale has some pretty rude teachers and staff members and i don't appreciate that. but they're some good teachers and staff members like the principal and others (that will not be named) and the students are cool but some are rude and crazy, the school should get a handle over that. Over all Lindale could use some work with teacher, staff, and students.

Posted: July 10, 2013

I went to this school from 2012-2013 and I had a blast! It was a fun year and had a lot of excited events and activities to do year-round. I went to the Halloween dance and it was great. The students can be mean sometimes and can be jerks. But everything else was great! I recommend you go to this middle school if you in 6th,7th,8th grade.
