Graduated in the 23-24 school year, and I absolutely adore everything about KP. The teachers always made me and everyone else feel right at home and were SO sweet. While I don't really know, my parents said that they loved KP because KP would always keep them "in the loop" and they would always know what was going on. Also, I've noticed this as I've moved to NBMS (The three schools that go there are Kensington Parkwood, Ashburton, and Wyngate) but KP is by far the smartest of the schools. In most classes, there are about 4 KP kids as we are the smaller school of the bunch, but in the advanced classes there are usually about 14/half the class. The teachers do an AMAZING job of teaching and the office staff are the best.

We have been part of Kensington Parkwood Elementary School since my children started first grade, My two kids are now in 2nd and 4th grade, and they both truly love their school.

The teachers are caring, patient, and dedicated they go above and beyond to make sure every student feels supported. The staff and administration are always approachable and committed to creating a safe, welcoming environment. My children come home excited to share what theyve learned, which tells me they feel both challenged and inspired.

The families here are friendly and involved, and it really feels like a team effort to give our children the best foundation.

used to go here in 2018-2019 in kindergarden but moved at that time it was so skibidi and everyone saved the rizz for baby gronk like only in ohio rizz

Kensington Parkwood is a diverse, vibrant, and flourishing community where children have the opportunity to receive world-class education with cutting edge curriculum from teachers who are dedicated and talented. The school has strong leadership from an outstanding and positive Principal. You will often see her at pickups and dropoffs and whenever there is a need for community engagement, she is out front and taking feedback. She is flanked by an incredible staff who seem able to teach the entire spectrum from children in need of special attention to the gifted program. The library is strong. The counselors are strong. The front office is strong. Security team is strong.

I have not yet met a parent who was dissatisfied with the school. Our son is in 5th grade and our daughter in 3rd and we've been with the school all the way! In fact, this satisfaction is in part driven by strong parent engagement with the school. The PTA is motivated, helping to help with all kinds of extras from a running club to environmental programs (composting, campus clean-ups, and fun school gatherings to name a couple).

The student body is diverse. Many ethnic backgrounds are well-represented as well as well as families come from around the world. The school hosts an international night and the sheer number of countries represented by flags of the world is staggering and inspiring. It seems there is a place for everyone.

The building is beautiful with lots of windows and many recent renovations that have modernized it.

Both our children "LOVE" KP and their teachers. Both graduated from there and moved on to North Bethesda.... Which the also "LOVED"

This school is a center of excellence for children with learning disabilities. It a referral school for neighboring that lack similar resources. This is a point of pride for the school, although it does over all lower test scores for the school as a whole.

It is part of its stated values, which are emphasized to the students every morning after 1st bell. I have also seen emphatically enforced by teachers and administrators during those rare incidents that children break the rules.

Kensington Parkwood is a five star school period. I felt like home every time I went in, and to This day I can still say it was the best 6 years of my life. We had hundreds of different projects that sparked my interest in learning. The staff if welcoming, and it is a great environment!
