Worst school i’ve ever been to. I opened up to them about my mental health and they followed me to the bathroom because it was my “safety plan” they punished me for my disabilities and refused to change my IEP. Don’t go here, horrible.

I attended this school from Pre-K to 8th grade. This school has left me with many learning gaps that have needed to be corrected in high school. Learning curriculum is unstable for almost all grades and not very educational. I’ve had a teacher that got so hooked up in a class puppet show that it took over actual class time and they stopped teaching actual history lessons, as well as a teacher with a supposedly merged science and math program that turned out to be all science and no math at all, failing to give me and my peers any math education that year. Many students have had issues with bullying that have been overlooked and ignored. Every aspect is unstable and disorganized, no staff member knows what they’re doing. There’s no proper disciplinary actions, so most students can take advantage of the lack of discipline and completely get away with it. There’s a large, decent special education system, but as I’ve gotten older many more times than not teachers have failed to notice my learning struggles that they caused and get me support until it was too late. They have a very good Pre-K though, the teachers are nurturing and the innovative outdoor learning actually works for them. The school also has a very large LGBTQ+ community, so it is a supportive positive environment, but it’s definitely much better as a school for much younger kids rather than grades 5-8. It’s a very childish environment. They’d be much better as the early childhood play place center they used to be, instead of being expected to meet education standards that they barely can. If you want a quality, stable education for your child, then don’t send them here!

Students love to go to school here, because if the classroom teachers. My child did very well with independent curriculum in reading. Says wants more math, science, Spanish. Communication from teachers and school (weekly) appreciated.

I have went to this school since preschool, and its a cool school. My main issue is I (and others) have classmates that are bullies, but they don't think they are and teachers don't seem to have a care in the world about student behavior. Other than that its great. They offer Aftercare and Beforecare options, after school activities, (mostly theater) and its great for special education kids.
