Most of the teachers are nice especially in the 6th grade but it is hard to feel motivated to learn and we dont do as much family events but a lot of teachers that are strict

Not the best academic opportunities, but some amazing teachers and excellent resources. Principal concentrates primarily on social issues and far less on advancing academics for all levels of students. Below average involvement of parents in advancing the students' abilities. Standards in most classes are minimal expectations, with a few inspiring hardworking talented teachers. Above average school due to teachers and resources, not the administration.

School is amazing, with the 2021 principal of the year Ms. Stone at the helm! Everything about this school is top-notch. We have two rambunctious boys that have attended this school and they were able to assist them to grow and mature while becoming responsible for themselves, just in time for High School. Not sure how this school could get a negative review. All the staff are readily available and instantly address any concerns you bring to them. This school has zero-tolerance for bullying, the staff cracks down on the subtlest of mean repetitive gestures towards a kid.

CRMS is exactly what we as parents wish we had in a middle school. The leadership is outstanding as evidenced by the principal, Jamie Stone, just winning Maine Principal of the Year! The school has remained in person throughout the year despite COVID because of effective protocols, communication, partnership, and trust. Teachers are exceptionally trained and caring individuals who work every day to make our kids feel empowered in their education. Students are given opportunities to always boost their grades through incorporating feedback into improving the quality of work, even after the assignment is due! The school also has a social worker, counselor, and school psychologist on site and partnerships with outside agencies that provide so much support for our kids. And lets not forget the beautiful new (2020) building and playground! It is clear the community of Camden-Rockport values education and community above all else!!!

Great school! The teachers work very hard to develop a rich curriculum and do a splendid job teaching it. All three of my unique children have had the very best teachers. Not one of those dedicated teachers stopped to try to figure out their learning styles. I was able to ask questions and respectfully got answers and help that was required for my kids! Thank you all-principal, teachers, and ed techs.
