My son has attended Union Chapel Elementary since Kindergarten. While no school is perfect and every childs journey will have its ups and downs, I can honestly say that Union Chapel has continued to improve year after year.
I believe strong relationships are built on great communication, and the staff here truly understands that. From the timeliness of their email responses to how quickly they communicate any concerns or behaviors, their attentiveness makes all the difference. They are consistently on top of it, and as a parent, I deeply value and appreciate that level of commitment.

This is one of two white elementaries of PHSD. Most students live in a cookie-cutter mass planned neighborhood of 4-500k homes. If you look different or have a different family composition, prepare to be isolated. I found that the principal was a pushover and the school is largely teacher-run and heavily PTA influenced. They took away programs like student of the month because moms complained that it wasnt fair when their student didnt win. Im so glad we moved! There should be a real housewives show based on the drama here.

Union Chapel is a wonderful school. My child performs above average and she is challenged in the school environment. They offer a great deal of extra curricular activities, too!
