There is no diversity what so ever at this school. A lot of bullying going on. . This has been the worst experience for our family. I'm disappointed .

The Rolla Middle School seems pretty average. My kids were in Columbia Public Schools before this, and they seem pretty bored this year. There is no gifted program, and that was disappointing to my daughter. They are not really challenging the smart students.

This is the first year that my children have attended the Rolla Public School system. We were concerned at first, because we were used to a larger school district. However, Rolla Middle School and Mark Twain Elementary have been an amazing experience for my children. The level of education they are receiving surpasses the last two schools our children have attended. The staff, climate and administrators are to be commended on a job well done!!!! Thank you Mr. Fridley and Mrs. Davis for all you do!!!!

This is my child's first year at Rolla Middle School. We were worried that going to a school where all the kids from 3 different elementary schools are in 1 building for the first time. However, my child's teacher has been a dream. She has created a warm, inviting, safe harbor for my child's first year in the middle school. However, the principal is another story. She is cold and inaccessible. My child didn't even know the head principal's name. She was astonished to find out that one of the assistant principals wasn't the head. We went to the school website so my daughter could see a picture of the principal. She said she had seen her a couple of times around the building - mostly the cafeteria, but she had no idea that she was the principal. I have not heard many parents speak well of her either.
