I got food poisoning. The school is genuinely terrible. The system on bulling is atrocious. Someone punches or hits you and you both engage into a fight, YOU are the one in ISS. Not the person who hit you.

i was a student here last year before i had moved, they are extremely strict over dresscode while sometimes the teachers dont even follow it and they only dresscode girls. The teaching here is a 50/50 it depends on what teachers you get and half of them suck. The displine they give is unfair, say you get into a fight and they came onto u YOURE the one getting put in iss not them. The food here is genuinely disgusting and it made me sick multiple times, the students here are two faced and will say rude things to you even if u havent done anything to them and the staff will literally not care (actually no shoutout to mr lord he did something) they overwork ur children so badly while half of them cant even teach and just throw stuff on the board and make you copy it down calling it teaching, the teachers will gossip about you and can even pick favorites and if ur not a favorite you get treated differently. This school is straight up disgusting and disrespectful, PLEASE do NOT send ur children here

As a military family, we felt like our child advanced during the two years of his attendance. We were impressed with the teachers professionalism and skill. The special education, counseling, Athletics coaching, nursing, and positive behavior support faculty and staff were excellent.

I'm a student at WMDS, and my personal opinion is that there cannot be a worse school. The kids are disrespectful and rude, the teachers don't want to listen and are also rude, and the faculty, dress code, and punishments are stupid and unfair. This school needs to go under renovation, both the building itself, and changing the staff. And I'm brave enough to say my name. - Jack P. Spady

My children have all gone to this school and I don't think that they are helpful to parents trying to get their children on the right track to succeed academically and I think that anytime I have been there and the principal would say I will speak with your student and then absolutely nothing happens. I also think that if they plan on having a dress code they should lead by example and the teachers should also follow this dress code. I also think that if the teachers want to be treated with respect they should show that to the parents as well. They like to email you and then not respond back when you contact them through email. I really think that other than Mrs. Roberts that the office people need to be replaced they are totally horrible and rude. I cannot wait until my last child is done with this school and then I will not have to deal with such horrible teachers and just staff in general. Good luck to any parents that have to send their children there. I have to say that all the other schools in Waynesville RVI schools are great no complaints.

My son just completed 7th grade at Waynesville Middle and continually complained that the teachers lacked control in the classroom. I did not feel welcomed by the staff or teachers when I was concerned about academics that he missed by changing districts. The thought seemed to be - he'll get it somewhere. If you are in sports then Waynesville is the place for you. I am hoping to get more involved this year (although my son won't be thrilled) maybe that will help with getting what he needs - a challenging education... not disruptive classrooms.

I am a former student of Waynesville Middle School, and I have to say it's a great school. I will admit that teachers do tend to gossip about students, but administrators usually take care of that problem rather quickly. However, teachers are always availible when you need them, and are never to busy to help. The staff and students of this school take pride in everything they do, including after-school clubs and sports.

I have had children attend this school and it has not been a good experience. Bad language and disrespect from students is tolerated. It appears that some teachers think all kids are bad and don't want to listen. Sometimes there are legitimate reasons for a child to ask questions, but they tend to be dismissed and told to be quiet. I will give praise to the counselor and principal who have been helpful.
