As a family of one of St. Charles Borromeo Academys scholars and members of the parish, our experience has been truly special. There is a quiet distinction about St. Charles. The classical education, traditional Catholic environment, and deep sense of history create an experience that feels timeless and intentionally preserved.

Father Thomas genuinely keeps the academy and its scholars at the forefront. There is a beautiful continuity between parish life, family, faith, and education that creates a true sense of belonging.

As a parent, it has been remarkable to witness our child become well read, poised, and confident academically. There is tremendous satisfaction in knowing my child is receiving an education rooted in literature, critical thinking, thoughtful communication, and meaningful engagement rather than spending the school day centered around a screen.

Catechesis is thoughtfully woven into the academic experience, cultivating not only Catholic knowledge, but a genuine curiosity, understanding, and love for the faith.

St. Charles feels rooted in something enduring. It is academically intentional, distinctly Catholic, and rich in tradition. It is a community quietly cultivating faith, intellect, character, and confident young scholars. Our family is deeply grateful to be part of it.

I love the family support and educational enrichment St Charles Borromeo provides to both students and families. My student is challenged not only intellectually but emotional, spiritually and socially as well. The teachers and administrators pour their heart and soul into all children. Both diversity of gifts and personhood are appreciated by all. This is one of the best school communities in not only the Northland but in the greater Kansas City area.

St. Charles has stayed true to small class sizes where each child is truly known and supported.
Our parish has deep, generational roots and a welcoming spirit, with families who take an active role in faith formation, education, and the life of the community..this is home.

There is a real sense of pride on campus, and you can see the continued care and improvement in the school. The teachers are highly educated and genuinely invested, and the safety protocols and having campus security give you peace of mind as a parent! The gardens and outdoor spaces are not just beautiful, they are part of how the children learn, explore, and grow. It is a well rounded, classical education that supports them physically, emotionally, and academically in a way that feels natural and grounded.

St. Charles is a beautiful institution. My children have always felt so at home within the school and parish community. This is our last year here, and I can confidently say my child is completely ready for St. Pius X High School. We are very grateful for everything St. Charles has given our family.

As a grandfather, I couldnt be more pleased with St. Charles. All of my children and now my grandchildren attend here. The teachers truly care, the academics are strong, and they teach grace, respect, and good manners. We are very grateful.

I love St. Charles Borromeo Academy. My child is so happy, has fun every day, and really enjoys being part of sports like track and basketball. Its such a joy seeing them excited to go to school.

Enrolling our children at St. Charles Borromeo was one of the best decisions we have made. Saint Charles is a FAMILY based parish with a strong community! I have seen firsthand how the classical education model at Saint Charles Borromeo Academy helps my child truly flourish, building strong skills in reading, reasoning, and critical thinking. At the same time, my child is growing in their understanding of what it means to live as a Christian and is developing a meaningful relationship with God. The school also does an excellent job of keeping parents involved, creating a strong partnership that supports each childs success.

My daughter currently attends Pre-K at Saint Charles Borromeo Academy, and our experience has been exceptional. The growth we have seen this year has far exceeded our expectations.

She is reading above her level and has gained tremendous academic confidence in a structured, nurturing environment that truly challenges and supports her. The standards are high, yet the teachers lead with care, encouragement, and intention.

Even more meaningful has been her spiritual development. She speaks about her Catholic faith with joy and sincerity, and we have watched her confidence in both faith and learning flourish. Her manners, dignity, and virtues are evident at home, reflecting the strong values instilled within this parish school community.

It is truly disheartening to see negative reviews because our experience has been overwhelmingly positive. We are grateful to be part of this Catholic parish and school. May God continue to bless the teachers, staff, students, and families who make this community so special.

If you are a traditional Catholic with a child who has special needs and would like to avoid the high school drama environment, this institution may not be suitable for you. The administration is unresponsive to incidents of bullying. Additionally, if you decide to transfer your child to another school, the principal will contact that school and speak negatively about your child. I am trying to be a good Catholic, so all I can do is pray for these individuals. However, I would never consider sending my kids back to St. Charles as long as the current administration and certain teachers are still in place.
