As a parent of two kids in St. James Schools, I am very proud to say that the teachers are there for the students not because its a job. The students build bonds with their teachers and enjoy being able to see them every day. I have seen an improvement in one of my children since he started at the middle school.

I work at the St. James Middle School and I see every day the caring staff working to make students better citizens and to excel in their school work. We do not falsely praise students to make them feel better, we encourage hard work and honesty.

As a parent, I have been very impressed with the middle school. One of the hardest things is getting information out of your child, and the teachers send messages out vial email/text that keep you informed so you can prompt your child for more information. I know as a teacher they are busy but they have always returned my emails promptly and that says a lot. My child has been very happy with his school and that says a lot because he used to dread going to school. Kudos to St. James Middle School.

My grandson, Kameron Barber, is in the 7th grade at St. James, MO, Middle School. He is in the starting lineup for the basketball team. I have gone to most of his home games and a couple of out of town games. Their coach, Josh Richards, is truly a positive influence on these boys. He teaches the boys that the game is a team effort, instills fairness, and is such a positive influence on them. The school is very fortunate to have such a fine young man in the system.

Because my son actually likes it there. He is doing well and I like the atmosphere of his school. He likes his teachers and so do I.
