This is a fantastic school. The staff goes above and beyond the entire school year. My student learned so much academically and spiritually. Our overall experience was a 10/10 and would recommend to anyone in the area.

There was minimal homework, most of it was reading books and review for tests. Teachers kept school work during class and he still did really well academically.

It depends on the individual teacher. I had the pleasure to interact with two and one was excellent, while the other one lacked management. Both were loving teachers and encouraged my child to do well in class.

This is very important and that's what thing I love the most about the school. They don't just focus on academics, they focus on values as well, respect, love for one another and confidence.

The few incidents that I had at the school were taken care of instantly. Director/Principal took care of my concerns and were highly involved with my child.

Huge! My son was involved in a bullying situation and the principal/teacher took care of it instantly. Every child will come across something like this but what matters is how the school responds to it and the school did amazing.

Overall I would give it a 9/10. I had my child registered at the school for 3 consecutive years and I don't regret it. He loved it and the school loved him. They have good people and a quality of education. Amazing!

My son has a hard time with reading, this school has went above and beyond working with him at his level and once it is mastered, moving him up. They are allowing him to work at his pace, with lots of care and time taken.

This school has changed my sons life. He has some behavior issues, this school has effectively focused on his issues and they have done wonders on his behavior in social settings.

The principal is easily accessible and has the student's best interest at heart. He was a public school teacher for many years before becoming the principal here and you can tell he is very much interested in the kids. He has attended their basketball games outside of school hours and stays active in their classes there at school. Knows each kid by name.

Again, small class sizes are huge when it comes to dealing with diversity in the classroom, and WCA teachers are great and meeting learners where they are at.

I had to mark neutral because I do not know of any bullying issues here. My son has never complained of anyone bullying. I'm sure the issue would be dealt with, though, should it arise.

Both my son and I's experience at this school has been a wonderful experience. He attended there for 2 years in preschool and is now in Kindergarten. I have had absolutely no regrets with sending him to school here.

My son attended here for two years of preschool and kindergarten. He has learned so much, I was surprised at how quickly he learned to read! The teachers are very hands on and cater to each child. The classes are small which help the kids to spend more time learning. The staff are very friendly and keep parents informed of anything. My favorite thing about this school however, is how much my son enjoys chapel time. He has become so interested in the bible he comes home asking me questions I have trouble answering without looking up!

My son attended the preschool for the 2014-2015 school year. He learned so much! His teachers were loving and patient, and he thrived in their classroom. We intend to enroll him when it's time to start Kindergarten!

The teachers and Mrs. Martin, the director, are all fantastic!! I honestly cannot say enough good things about this school. My husband and I both work in public schools, but we still have chosen to send our kids to Westside. They are so patient and kind and always willing to work with our kids no matter what they need. Our oldest son has grown so much academically, socially, and emotionally during the past two years here. I would never send them anywhere else!

My 4 year old daughter was enrolled in PreK at WCA while my son was in kindergarten at a nearby public school. It didnt take long to realize my daughter was learning more at school than my son was. My son was also having a lot of problems related to ADHD at his public school. My husband and I made the decision to tramsfer our son to WCA as well. It was the best decision we have ever made. Mrs Sivak (the kindergarten teacher) and director Mrs Martin went over and beyond with patience and love for our son. The child he is today is so different from the one a year ago. Both of our children love their school. They have learned more about Jesus than we could have taught them. They pray, teach us Bible stories, and sing God's praises every day. They came home with projects and worksheets and art work that proved how hard they worked. I recommend this school to every person I have the chance to do so. My kids will not leave this school as long as we are stationed here (as we are a military family). I can't speak any higher of it.

My son attended kindergarten. The staff was amazing. The curriculum, A Beka, was excellent. The class sizes top out at 15. The school provides a God centered approach to all lessons. Specials are everyday and recess is a given. The field trips are fun and entertaining for parents as well. I'm very pleased with my child's first year.

My son was in the PreK program for the 2014-15 school year at Westside Christian Academy. He grew leaps and bounds both academically and socially. I love that he comes home asking about God and telling me what he has learned on a daily basis. His teachers were amazing, as were those in the before and after school care program. I work for the public school system and several of the Kindergarten teachers in the area have stated that they are always impressed by students that previously attended WCA. I HIGHLY recommend Westside Christian Academy to anyone looking for a truly wonderful experience.

My daughter is excited to go to school everyday! She is 4 and is learning to read, she can sound out words, she can count to over 100 easily, and she continues to learn new things everyday. I feel very comfortable taking and leaving my daughter here. I would and do recommend this school to anyone looking for a safe and fun learning environment for your child.

We couldn't be happier with this school. Our daughter has attended this school for a couple of years and it's just so refreshing knowing your children are getting a great education and they're in the care of people who know them and truly care about them. Love this school!

This is a wonderful school! Warm, inviting and safe environment. Each teacher is very attentive of each individual students needs, strengths and weaknesses and work very closely with each student to help them grow in all areas. My son has grown by leaps and bounds both in his academics and his spirituality. The curriculum is strong and well rounded and the extra curricular activities are wonderful. The classes are 15 kids or less, which is a perfect size for a smooth learning environment. I highly recommend this school!

Very loving and Christian environment at WCA. My kiddos love it here and have done so well. They teach our kids like they are their own. The teachers teach respect and morality as well as academics. We are sad that the military is moving us and we can't keep our kids here!

My son and I both love this school. He has attended Kindergarten and First grade there and we will be back for Second grade. They have a well rounded education plan and the teachers and all the staff are very kind and patient with the kids. My son is ahead of other kids his age that attend public school and I am so thankful for all they have done and continue to do! Definately recommend this school to all.

WCA is great Christian School. My boys enjoy their time and learn so much. Mrs. Harne has done an awesome job with helping my son gain self esteem in the classroom. He loves school which is a huge change from his prior experience. The school is awesome.

The environment is so wonderful for both of my kids. They truly enjoy going to school in the morning. Ms Sivak/ Ms Leon and Ms Savini are absolutely wonderful educators. My kids are in Kinder and Pre-school. Mrs Martin does a great job taking care of the kids.

Both of our daughters went here for preschool. My husband and I do not just let anyone be with our children. Ms. Martin and all of the staff there are amazing and so welcoming from the moment you set foot into the building. Any time I had any questions, about my children, I always felt they were answered. We have been going there since 2010.

My son was in the full day preschool class. Mrs. Bobbie and the staff were wonderful. They were very accommodating whenever a need arose. My son loved going to school everyday. His teachers were amazing. I enjoyed the constant interaction and feedback that I received from the teachers. We were sad to have only been there for a year before having to move. I could not have asked for a better learning environment for my son.

I can't say enough wonderful things about WCA! Ms. Bobbie Martin and her staff are kind, loving, and intelligent people. WCA preschool program gave my daughter a fantastic head start to her education! I can't wait till my son is old enough to start the program.

This is an awesome school! Ms. Bobbie is wonderful, as were Ms. Heather and Ms. Christine. My son attended part day pm and had a great experience. I can't wait for my daughter to start in the fall.
