-The Board of Education is outstanding and ensures the students are the #1 priority at all times, while also being fiscally responsible.
-Administrators routinely go above and beyond to care for the students, even outside of school. People, not numbers.
-Teachers are actively involved in the lives of their students and work hard to develop them into successful adults.
-Sports programs are superb, especially girls basketball. It's nearly a religion. Legendary.
-Clubs such as, but not limited to, FFA and FBLA are routinely bringing home top awards, year-after-year.
-The HIGHLY supportive and engaged community makes everything above possible.

Little or incredibly simple homework given. Most consisted of busywork (crosswords, word searches, etc.).

Teachers do not put effort into lesson plans. Also, most of the teachers working here are either related to each other or to a board member.

I feel this school encourages cheating, minimal effort, and arrogance, at least those are the characteristics the teachers show.

Teachers do not give students good examples. The superintendent has been kicked out of sports events for cussing and bad behavior. Coaches do not congratulate effort or victory, instead athletes are made to run.

The school does have a special ed class, but I feel like the students are not appreciated, but rather thought to be a burden. They deserve much better education and opportunities than they currently receive.

As a former student, I can say that bullying is definitely not dealt with. Many students are rude, arrogant, and just plain mean.

When attending this school, I felt there weren't many academic opportunities for me. The main focus of the school is sports, sadly. The school has had grants taken away in the past because they were not being used for education, as intended, but instead were being used for sports fields and equipment, and such. I do not recommend this school to anyone that wishes to better themselves in life by receiving a proper education and wishes to have a delightful school experience surrounded by intelligent, kind peers, as nothing of the sort can be found at this school.

The students here are not very good. They all think they are better than everyone else because they go here. All they care about are sports. We will recruit good players from nearby schools just for their sports abilities. Then when we win against a school 3x smaller we think it's a big achievement. Also another thing is we like to cheat at sports for some reason. At tournaments we will get officials that will help us win the tough games. If I was a parent I would not recommend Skyline High.
