This is such a bad school, the food is gross, the teachers will yell and not help at all, and I cant stand it. Please be better DCMS.

To think the principal was named admin of the year is a complete joke. He allowed his volunteers to run the school and ruin kids lives. No one can teach when fights break out every period and kids are constantly disruptive. Favortism runs deep in the football and cheer teams. They will kick you off if they make up a good story and spread false rumors. Be careful, this school is as toxic as they come

So this school is not a good place to learn this school has bad working environments the gyms is disgusting the food is horrible and not seasoned also the corndog last time was oozing and the principle told me to eat around it the children in this school like to bully each other and they like picking on others who didn't even do anything to them and also if they pick a fight with you just walk away cause the rules state you cant defend yourself now the learning itself its alright it can be improved but this school can change people's lives if they go here in a bad way the school had some roaches when i saw this place teachers only step in where there is a fight and not arguing as a person who went to this school i give this whole school a one star

My son has dyslexia, among other varying problems. Im amazed at the sheer energy and determination of the Special Education teachers and other staff. I need an assistant to answer the phone calls, emails, reports and homework assignments my son and I receive. I want to thank them for continuously putting one foot in front of another and doing their job, but also making it easy for parents to be involved and stay that way. So stay strong, dedicated and hopefully you will be the teacher that changed a young boys life. I can honestly say the special education teacher has done everything in her power to help my son succeed. Thank you from a parent, Amy Peacock.

most staff is there to foster education but a few are there to put their personal grievances in life against children. If you are not there for the children's safety and education; you should not be working in the school district

My child attends to this school she's in 7th grade and they had always pick on her and I'm talking mostly of teachers and one of the main principals! I'm NOT SURE if it's racism or just because my oldest daughter went they the same thing but an education doesn't mean you have to treat them like crap! Telling them that their dumb because they don't understand them well and when they ask for help they don't ! I am very disappointed at this middle school it's always the same thing I'm Hispanic and I feel uncomfortable of how they have treated my daughters and the thing is that they have changed from happiness to be depressed! Their life has change a lot and everyday it's worst! They need to do something about it and I will write her last name so when you read this you know who I'm talking about (Lopez) and if I could give a ZERO STAR I WOULD IM VERY UPSET AT THAT PRINCIPAL AND THOSE BULLYING TEACHERS!

My kids come from another school in the county and they love Desoto Central. Great school with some amazing teachers.

Tht lady. Talking about the gym coach walking around with the paddle it's coach turnage coach turnage would never do anything so ur child needs to stop being a lil brat and grow a pair and get over it and on top of tht we have the guest test score out of mississispi and the whole district of desoto central and it is so not disorganized is so fun and they give us freedom but when it's time for studying and class it's fun and try about the coldness but tell them to bring a jacket

Very disorganized! Very shocked to find my child has over 20 kids in each of her classes. Even more shocked to hear of a gym coach that is intimidating the children by walking around during lunch slapping a PADDLE on the bottom of his shoe. Some of the teachers have the air conditioning cranked up so high, the kids have to wear jackets, and are shivering!
