Children's House Montessori School

When we moved to NC, it was important to me that my son attend a Montessori school. We immediately put him on the wait list in the fall. They had openings for the spring but we ended up being on the wait list for a year because we left to visit family from April-July. Over that year span, Mrs. Linda Rose was amazing. I came in maybe only three times but from the first time, she remembered us, our son's name and when he was turning three. The environment has a homey feel, it's smaller and thus, the students get more one-on-one time if needed. Even though my son has only been there a month, I've noticed tremendous improvement in his speech and responsibility for his things. He also recognizes his name and can spell it. They've also been a tremendous help with potty training. Most schools ask that 3 years old be potty trained but it's not an issue here. They truly let the child learn at their pace and respect it. I can't say enough great things about The Children's House. I can't wait to see where my son will be at the end of the school year.
