I’ve had two children at WCA, my oldest being there since she was 2. The academy side was great, teachers were amazing and that’s the part my child loved. However the childcare and after school programs are a joke. They allow students to get bullied and picked on and when brought to the directors attention she did nothing. They have no authority in the child care and even when you pay them almost 800 a month they are constantly knit picking the kids and not allowing them to be kids without sending them home or making the parents have to leave work constantly. The students in the childcare have no idea who’s in charge because they don’t want to do there job! The director of the child care is rude, and truly shows she doesn’t care for the children there unless they fit certain criteria (lots of money, attend the same church’s as the higher up, etc) as long as both my kids have been there when the decision was made to pull them we didn’t get a I’m sorry, can we do anything to help yall want to stay! Not even a goodbye to my children! Would not recommend this child care facility to anyone unless you plan on sitting there all day with your child and doing there job while still giving them 800 dollars a month!

If you’re considering sending your child to this school, please reconsider. However, if you have plenty of money, your child will fit right in. If you donate money or your child is decent at certain sports, you have nothing to worry about. If this doesn’t sound like your situation, avoid this school at all costs. Education is sub-par. They have teachers teaching multiple courses they they’re not even qualified to teach. They also still have this holier than thou mentality that they’ve had ever since established. This is just my opinion but in my opinion, there’s way better schools in the area who are not solely focused on how much money you donate or if your child is good at certain sports. Just giving folks a heads up.

We placed both of our boys in Wilson Christian this year and we could not be more pleased. They have adapted well and been accepted by both the teachers and students. We have found a family here. They have so much to offer!

I do not have much to speak about on this as I do not have a student who needs a lot of extra classroom support. However, my 5th grader does have an issue with her bs and ds and her teacher has allowed an accommodation at my request.

My 5th grader had an issue with a another student pushing and being rude but the teachers handle the issue appropriately. The school also has a no bullying policy.

Posted: December 11, 2019

My experience with the relationship between my 5th grader the teachers has been a positive one.

Excellent! My 5th grader was a transfer student during a very stressful time in our family. The administration and staff was very supportive of our family and made the transition a positive experience. My child was also welcomed by the students..

Most of the workload happens at school. Wednesday nights, no homework is given which allows students to attend midweek services at their church of choice, should their family choose to do so.

From the first time we toured Wilson Christian, we knew this would be home. Our children were moving into their Middle School years and we wanted a loving enviornment to put them in. Teachers and Students welcomed new kids to the classroom with open arms. Open communication between parents and staff is welcomed and encouraged. They have done an amazing job at bringing the Word of God into each class and encourage students to grow in their bible reading and prayer. They genuinly care for each student. I would recommend this school to anyone looking for a private education with a strong influence for the teaching of Gods word! Our children have made wonderful friends at the school as have we (the parents)

My children were at WCA for 4 years and during that time, my daughter was bullied and picked on by a teacher. She used a private situation at our home as a Bible lesson and called it out. My daughter was in tears one day because of how one teacher was being derogatory about denominations that were different from theirs. Extremely dissapointing. There is a bias that runs through the faculty and administration.

We had read other reviews on this school about the administration treating kids differently if they didn't attend their church, but we decided to send our son there anyway. We should've paid more attention to those reviews because they are ABSOLUTELY TRUE! If you and your child do not attend their church (Tabernacle Baptist Church), your child will become an outcast and will essentially get picked on by them. They will get minor demerits that add up over the year threatening to get your child kicked out of school (until they are finally tired of you getting the hint and they just push your kid out of the school). This is the biggest group of hypocritical "Christians" I think I've ever met in my life. I would not recommend sending your child to this school. FYI - I am a graduate of Liberty University and I still would not recommend this "Christian" school as a good option for your child.
