We have had a child in this school for the last 7 years, first our child and now our second . We have watched the level of care and support from the administration slowly decline over the years.
What used to be a great welcoming family environment has declined into an autocratic unwelcoming environment. When a child has special or extenuating circumstances the attitude, used to be "please let us know what is going on and let us know how we can help", that is no longer the case.
I would have to give five stars for the teachers and one star for the administrators.

We have a 2nd grader and two 5th graders at Huntingtowne Farms. To date, the school has exceeded our expectations, with exemplary leadership and a team of teachers who have gone above and beyond to teach, care for and encourage our kids! Of particular note was the effective manner in which the school adapted to the COVID-induced virtual learning environment, which says a lot about the resilience, focus and sense of purpose that inspires the teachers and administration. We greatly appreciate the diversity and family-like culture of this school, where each child is equally loved and accepted. Communication is also a definite strong point of the school; we have enjoyed a direct line of communication with the Principal and the teachers, with all proving to be incredibly responsive and helpful at all times. We would highly recommend this school to anyone who is intent on raising the bar on their child's education within a loving, nurturing environment, and would strongly encourage parents to get involved with the school and their child's education, as your experience at Huntingtowne Farms will be what you and your child make of it.

We have a third grader and a 1st grader at Huntingtowne Farms and we cannot say enough great things about this school. We love the International Baccalaureate curriculum and the small group approach to learning. The teachers are creative, dynamic, and make education fun. They take the time to teach character building and celebrate the diversity and different cultures that make our school special.

Huntingtowne Farms is a great school. Prospective parents should visit the school rather than rely on these ratings. The IB and dual language Spanish immersion programs are outstanding and the small group learning model allows each student to learn at their own pace. If you value diversity and want an excellent school, this is a stellar choice.

My child has been at Huntingtowne Farms for 3 years now. Through the years I've seen remarkable changes that only get better. The principle Ms. Rodd is amazing. She speaks to every parent. She takes time to get to know all the families. Ms Stevens was my daughters kindergarten teacher, the best teacher a parent could ever want for their child. Every teacher I've come in contact with seems caring and attentive to my child's needs. All around great school!

I cannot believe this school has been rated a 3! This has been the absolute best school my son has attended. There is so much involvement in this school. It's principal, teachers and staff all care about the future of their students. My Son is in Kindergarten now and absolutely adores his teacher Ms. Stevens. She is so understanding and amazing at her job! One of the best teachers I have ever encountered. My family and I moved from Miami, FL to Charlotte back in August of 2015 and we chose our apartment because of the school district. The teachers in this school are always smiling and love what they do. They see the potential in every child. My son has been doing amazing here. My husband and I have been very happy with our choice.

Huntingtowne is the best school my daughter attended. The teachers were truly committed to helping my child reach her academic goals. The principal was always more than willing to talk to you if you had issues. The only thing I'd like to change is the fact the air conditioning is not on for PTA meetings. Other than that you can rest assured your child will be in a safe environment.

Serously? A 3? And South Meck a 6? I will give you Endhaven is an 8 and Olde Providence a 10 but I lived in Huntingtown Farms neighborhood and walked to school with my sisters way back when and it is a LOT better of a school than is given credit. Don't believe everything you read or hear. Especially about this "report."
