My daughter started has had a great experience at Ballantyne Ridge High School. The teachers and staff are supportive and there are plenty of opportunities for her to get involved. The school has does a great job getting her ready for college; she's a rising senior. We're very happy with our experience and would recommend Ballantyne Ridge to other families.

Ballantyne Ridge has been a blessing for my child. At first, we were disappointed to be re-zoned into a new school but boy, were we wrong! My son's previous high school was over crowded and he felt like a number. At Ballantyne Ridge he is getting an amazing education and he truly feels the sense of community the school is creating. Ballantyne Ridge offers excellent honors, AP and dual enrollment (college) options and they just started an IB program. The teachers, staff and administration have all been great! The extra curricular options have been fantastic and feel more welcoming than at his previous school. We're grateful for Ballantyne Ridge!

Our child and his friends are flourishing in this school. I’ve been very impressed by the staff, teachers and programs available.

This school functions at a very high level despite being brand new.

I would and have recommended this school to at least 3 families. Well done.

At first I thought good fit for my kid but quickly realized differently. My kid told me about the officer at the school and him letting a little girl get away with having a vape then supposedly took a picture with her after. My kid showed proof and I was very disappointed. Another incident was where my kid was grouped with these girls and was accused of being searched before but was never searched. They have dress code violations for only certain people and certain body shapes it seems. I am very disappointed that a new school like this with previous teachers from different schools this is how this school is run. Also, I truly believe that this school focuses more on giving the kids more rules and guidelines to lock them down than to open there horizons, minds, and problem solving skills. My kids won’t be back to this school.

I had a really great experience at this school, i felt welcomed and felt right in place at the school. I made friends and the teachers were understanding and civil. The options are great here and i felt like it could not get any better. I was initially afraid to come here due to the bad reviews but it turned out to be the opposite. I would definetely reccomend.

This school is very alike to a person, the is no type of safety or emotional support or regard of kids the discrimination is outrageous the lack of empathy and respect they have, and they make kids pay a lot of money just for thing that aren’t useful for class time or even for the environment or kids. This school needs to either be shut down, under investigation or things need to change.
