Heron Pond Montessori School

Heron Pond Montessori School is the best school on the Outer Banks, NC. I have two children enrolled in HPMS from 2007-2013 ongoing. We've been very happy with the curriculum they use, the staff, classroom materials and layout, playgrounds, gardens, even social events and the fundraisers that they host . They don't just teach our children academics, they build strong ,confident, caring and happy children. They learn how to cook, to clean, take care of pets, garden, and I could go on and on. My children wake up in the morning excited to go to school.

All of the teachers are very caring and compassionate, they work very closely and individually with my child to ensure his success at everything he works on.

The teachers find a way to teach each child with love and compassion. The children are allowed to grow into little people and think for themselves and be excited about learning. I am amazed at how much my children have learned there. The teachers are wonderful!

I've watched my daughter flourish at HPMS. I can't say enough about the teachers and overall Montessori experience. It's truly the perfect environment for intellectual and social growth.

My child is safe, learning at her own pace, and she wants to go to school everyday, The staff is amazing and the children are well mannered. Montessori education at Heron Pond is privately owned and the teachers need health insurance. This school is perfect to receive this great honor.
