Stay away from this school if you can. Most teachers are very inexperienced and the communication to the parents is horrible. If students are struggling, you definitely will not be informed. Teachers blame the student and parents instead of trying to solve the issue and figuring out the root of why a student might be struggling. Not a fan. Can't wait to remove my child from this school as soon as possible.

My sons teachers appreciate the value of family time and limit homework to reflect that.

Our teachers have gone above and beyond to reach each student on their level.

Excellent. We love Murrayville and are appreciative of everything our son has learned. He has not only developed his mind but his character and his sense of responsibility.

Unfortunately, I think there is a lack of challenge for students who achieve at a higher level than what is expected. Homework and in-school assignments generally consist of busy work. It's okay for average students, I would imagine. There was also some report of underachieving students being treated unfairly by students and teachers. According to my daughters, there is too much leniency and/or inattention by the teachers when it comes to disrespectful behavior between students.

My son went to Murrayville for Kindergarten and first grade. We were pulled in the lottery for Eaton for second grade. We didn't dislike Eaton but, both my son and I were happier at Murrayville, we have just made the choice to return to Murrayville for third grade.

Our son was a learning plan for 3 years here and never went on a IEP, we moved out of state and his new school tested him just to find out he's reading at a 2 nd grade level and he's in the 4 th grade. He was pushed through each grade telling us that he'll catch up.

Don't let the grade on this school fool you. Murrayville Elementary School is a Great school! I have had my children here for 3 years now and have had all wonderful teachers. Dr. Dulcos makes you feel right at home, with her welcoming smile whenever she sees a parent or student. This school has given my children just as good of an education. Our family is proud to say "we go to Murrayville!!" Thank you to ALL of the staff at Murrayville Elementary School. Kathy C. (proud parent)
