Its a nice neighborhood and Most of The kids were ok and there wasnt a lot of bullying however the teachers here definitely pick favorites and some abuse their power. Wish I wouldve went someplace else

this school is ok but teachers don't really care if you get bullied or have been traumatized by school or other things.

They dont handle bullying well but whatever. Nice school tho

L&C has been a very good experience for my three kids who have gone there. The teachers for the most part engaged the kids in their work, challenged them to excel, and were supportive of different learning styles. There are many extracurricular activities to choose from ... the only downside was that soccer isn't offered but that's the case with all other local middle schools and not the fault of L&C. Communication with parents was appropriate. I didn't care for 7th and 8th graders being on the same "team," however ... there is a big difference in maturity at that age and it doesn't serve either 7th or 8th graders well to be on the same team as those much older or younger than them. Advisory is a welcome addition to the offerings. Lastly, Mr. Owen rocks!
