I love this school! I've made plenty of new friends just in sixth grade. I have also had fun learning there because almost all the teachers are very nice and most of them are also chill. The Bridge to Early College program is also very nice as well as pre-algebra. I'm excited for Algebra I and Geometry I next year. All in all, I think Millard Central is a very nice school and I totally recommend it.

this school is very bad and i have this view not because the school in general its the teachers and students this is one of the more popular schools in millard and with this a lot of kids come here and not good ones there is contestant bullying and lots of kids who aren't happy here because of how other students treat them and the cherry on top is that most of the teachers don't do nothing about it even though they encourage you come to them for help and the year 2025-2026 is got to be one of the worst for the 7th and 8th graders we got lost of new teachers enclouding and they are a big change from the prior year the teachers last year were super sweet and made the school more tolerable and the punishments are taken way too seriously if you were to be late to a class 6 times because you only get a 3 min passing period and its not a lot of time especially if the hallway is crowded by people who just want to be slow and talk and you could get an ISS and getting into big trouble or into a fight is the worst if you attack first because they wont care about why you did it and dont care for your side of the story and when you come back they will treat you differently over all some of these teachers clearly have favorites and you don't even have to do anything so id recommend if you don't come here

The school is okay my biggest problem with it is the teachers and the teaching methods the teacher have clear favorites for example their favorite student could have their phone out all they want and not get it taken but if you’re not the favorite then you get it taken away even if you look at it for 2 seconds another throng about teachers is that the gym teachers because they’re both men they can’t go into the girls locker room if something happens so girls can’t use it there’s an obvious solution to this call the office they office is extremely close to the gym. Sometimes the teachers don’t even follow school rules. The learning is horrible they don’t do engaging activities or anything fun. They expect to us to listen in uncomfortable chairs about things we don’t care about of course it’s gonna be hard to listen and learn something and then they get mad I understand we’re gonna have to sit and listen but every class period especially for growing kids is insane. Shoutout to Mrs. Embry and Mrs Willison for being a good teacher and making things fun. There’s a ton of bullies and the only time teachers intervene is when it gets physical words can hurt people. They shove 988 in our faces but make no effort to actually think about students feelings.

As a current student in central, I can say its not the best school. But if your kid can stick with the right group, stay away from fights and drugs ( maybe get into Bridge) This school will be great, I do recommend.

If you really have to go here, just don’t. MCMS is a horrible school. There’s so many fights and so much bullying and so many totally random rules put in place that don’t make sense or aren’t elaborated enough. As a student who goes here, bullying is very common at this school, rarely by teachers but mostly by students. Students are very hostile and there has been so many fights and the semester has not even ended yet. Students are also very disrespectful. I cannot say the amount of times people have gotten a push-in in my class, it happens daily. The staff and admins and counselors do absolutely NOTHING about the bullying. The rules are also very random and weird. Just recently, about two years ago, the school banned phones because of cyberbullying. They claim that it has been reduced when in reality, they just don’t want parents to find out it’s still happening and it’s still very dire. Although, the school does treat people with disabilities very well and takes care of their needs. Just not normal students, though. Teachers are eager to meet parents and are very welcoming. Nobody feels excited to learn at all, though. Everyone is always sleep deprived and running on Monster energy or Starbucks’ cold brew. If the district made the time later, maybe people would be more awake and more excited to learn, because everyone is always sleeping or dozing off in class. If you are thinking of sending your children here or if you have to, just get put on the waiting list and go to a different school instead. There are many better options in the district.

The school I have gone too through-out these years have been terrible. The 6th grade year was mostly much better than the 7th grade year. People have been causing tons of drama, and school fights have been happening because the students there are doing this through their phones (mostly on the app TikTok or Snapchat.) If I were to go back there again, I swear, I would have one of the most hated year ever, and this is the possible reason why: Administration never do anything about school fights except teachers, the drama that is causing everyone to cyberbully, and many other reason. I had this one class with the art teacher, but she has been a horrible teacher, bullying students for not doing their work because of the stupid deadlines, Being overall rude to the students, and many more. This teacher have been in that classroom, that I can't even count that many years. Overall rating on this school, if I could, 0/5.

Okay, I want to make a review on this. There are fights daily, and as a student, I fear that one day, I will be in one. It's really scary going to lunch with my friends, always being on watch, and breaking down when I go home because I'm glad I haven't gotten punched. I tell my mom "mom, there was another fight today." Thinking every school experiences this. It doesn't. Don't even get me started on the discrimination I face daily as a student. I have been called gay, slurs, faced sexism, and witnessed discrimination on black people. The phone policy is unfair aswell. Students cannot use their phone from 7:45-3:00 because students were cyberbullying. Unfortunatly, if you get rid of phones, the bad kids are still gonna use them so all you're doing is punishing the good kids.

My experience with MCMS spans over several years with three of my four children attending. What I have seen over the past 12 years is a change in the student population which reflects the difficulties the teachers and staff face today. There are more language barriers with parents, single parent households, poverty, and students with learning disabilities and behavior issues, than there were even five years ago. As a volunteer at the school I know engaging some parents can be difficult. However, the school social worker and staff provide many ways to involve parents by holding family community nights, educational meetings, and other opportunities. MCMS is the most culturally diverse middle school in the Millard school district. That being said, Millard schools have a more challenging curriculum and have higher standards than some of the other Omaha school districts. Those students transferring from other schools will notice the difference and may struggle. The teachers and administration are not to blame for everything.

It was difficult every year. Tons of bullying that administrators say there is little to nothing they can do. Even when presented with written and/or photo/video evidence they do little to nothing. Drug use is rampant and students aren't afraid to show their drug and alcohol use in social media. Students care little about school and more about who they are dating and which clique will accept them than school work. Teachers are great but no homework is disappointing. Not looking for tons of homework but something that teaches some responsibility around deadlines and self-responsibility would be nice. My other children behind the oldest will go elsewhere or will be homeschooled.

A lot of bullying. Principal and Administration staff do nothing to stop the abuse.

I currently go to school at Millard Central Middle School. Although the white race is quiet large, there is still a big diversity. For example, we have some Micronesians, Koreans, Sudanese and many more to come. We are a great school. We have the best administrtion in the Millard district. we also have some of the best teachers there are in the state of Nebraska!!!
