This school is not good for children with special needs. They will try to do everything they can but they fall short. My child is in 5th grade and reads on a K level. If the lowest reading level is K. The whole class will be on that level. Also discipline is not that great either. Some students are favor rather than others, so they just fall short. I would look at another school.

As a former graduate of LMS I am very pleased to send my daughter to this school district. She makes honor roll every marking period and loves her teachers! The staff is excellent as well as the curriculum. Our family is very pleased with Lumberton School District.
