The principal doesnt care about the students graduation and taking care of students. The workload was absurd. The English teachers wanted us to do art one time and I made a good drawing while following instructions and they graded it badly while some other pupils' drawings werent on point and it is not art class-its English so that was weird and they segregated blacks vs whites! Prejudice?!:( There is sadly also bullying in the school and in the neighborhood. The history teacher made us do lots of mythology in class. The school looks nice inside. Miss Karen was a good science teacher.

Teachers at this school are mean and shoot your self esteem down, my 8th grade year in middle school they separated us into hallways, red hallway was for the non honors students and the blue hallway was for the honors students and the principal Karen Barry made it clear to each child about the hallway separation.

My experience at this school was terrible, never have I ever experienced such terrible things done to middle school students. I go to school for teaching now and I graduated from Millstone Middle School and all I have to say is that they are a disgrace. Making struggling students feel bad about not being an honors student is something they do best at Millstone Middle School. They had us separated into honors and non honors hallway and told us that. They were mean, they shot me down and ruined my self esteem as a student going there I struggled in school and they did not make me feel better or offer anything at all to help me either. Karen Barry is very mean and is who informed the non-honors hallway that they were non-honors for a reason she made kids feel bad about themseleves. I am so upset they treated my class like this, I hope they have changed their ways and do not treat their students the way they treated myself and the rest of my graduating class.

I believe teachers give just the right amount of homework. My son usually has some homework in one or two classes, maybe three. The teachers assign projects with plenty of time to work on them.

The teachers are amazing! They care deeply about their students, parents and the community. The teachers and staff have really worked amazing well with my child who has special needs. We have open lines of communication and common goals.

Yes, they focus on developing character within the students. I am not aware of any bullying that happens in the school. Small classroom sizes allow each child to be seen as an individual.

I've dealt with the administration and leaders and have always found them to be helpful, caring and effective.

Yes, I've experienced having my child on a 504 and an IEP and the teachers and administrators worked with me to create our objectives, accomodations and strategies. They have been very courteous and caring and my child is doing well.

Yes, bullying is not permitted. Students are encouraged to report bullying, and even have an app to report things annonymously. They recently had an interactive presentation about a young girl who was bullied and killed herself. The kids were already anti-bullying, and this really drove the point home.

We love living in Millstone. The schools are all excellent. My child has done so well here after moving out of an area with worse schools. Also, the Middle School is a beautiful, newer building with great resources, an impressive library, a huge auditorium, a STEAM Lab, two gyms, etc. It really is a great place to make it through the middle school years.

10/10. The teachers are great, but I dont think the students realize how lucky they are.

Teachers understand that their students ACTUALLY HAVE LIVES, and dont give us hours and hours of homework every night. Mr. B is especially progressive in his view of HW.

This school does wayyyyy to much.... like, Im thankful that I can say that I have never witnessed nor heard of any bullying in this school, but nowadays kids are teased and then go crying to the administration that they are being bullied and they believe the students.

Millstone Middle has been a great fit for our family so far. Being a transfer they helped that transition. The theatre is awesome and though no kids in drama; it is still great and there are some very talented kids in the plays. Test scores are high, teachers are true professionals and even many of the families we are coming to now are some really genuine people.

Millstone schools are excellent. Mr. Williams is an amazing teacher and role model. Mrs. Joyce is awesome and makes sure students either get the math or come for extra help. These teachers make the students WORK...that's the way it should be.

I have had 3 children go to these schools millstone primary school millstone elementary school and millstone middle school . I am excited to have them enrolled here In a school that promotes so many activities . Also looks to the parents for help and for advice to deal with any lack is supplies or books needed to benifit . Organizations like MTFEE are set up along withPTO fairs and sales. millstone deals With each student on a personal level . There is a wide range of income in this area and the equality in the school has spoken volume teloward the skills of the teachers as well as for the involvement of the parents concern and dedication. A community and a school system looking to benifit all, isn't that what it should always be?

This school is awesome! Mrs. Barry is the best principal this town has ever had! I can not say enough good things about how she has made a difference. The teachers for the most part are very good and will always help a child in need. Parent contact is very good as well. The sports programs are top rated! Many clubs and fun things for the kids to be involved in. Three wonderful years spent here. My kids will miss this school and so will I!

The Millstone Twp. Middle School is a wonderful place to send your children. Do not listen otherwise. Starting with Mrs. Barry, you can not find a better principal. This town is lucky to have her. Teachers are good, some not as good, but the good out weighs the bad. It was a big concern about the academic program at first, not happy with some things, but again overall a good program. We will miss this school upon graduation and the staff/parent/kid relationships which have been formed.
