Poor Human Behaviors Need improvements. The he/she Principle is out of control and very disrespectful. Lack of mind control. Looking to fail those who have higher IQ than herself is rediculous.

this place shouldn't even be classified as a school. roaches everywhere. rude people. kids rarely disciplined. i've seen many kids get made fun of right in front of teachers, principals, and counselors and nothing is done. i, myself, have thrown up multiple times due to how horrible the school lunch is. sometimes they don't even give us proper breakfast. on those days, they toss one small piece of corn bread on a tray, and feed it to us. a sandwich if we're lucky. teachers are either super nice and let anything happen, or too strict, leading students to be stressed out. bullying is far too normalized in this school. and i'm not even sure anyone feels comfortable with expressing themselves. one of the counselors openly made fun of my friend for their struggles. this school seriously needs to change. and to all the parents out there, please never let your kids enter this torture chamber. send them to better schools nearby, such as east hampton middle school, lumberton middle school, sacred heart, etc.

Fortunately, my child only had to be in this school for 2 years before transitioning to high school. This is the worst school I've ever had the displeasure of interacting with. My daughter didn't flourish here at all. She just kind of got by. I'm glad we moved here for the high school. They're wonderful and have been bringing out the best, however this one pales in comparison. The principal, vice principal and the teachers, all except maybe 2 are just failing to do their jobs.

Fighting is a huge thing at this school and has been for multiple years. The teachers are unaware of drama, bullying and fights that are are happening in they're classrooms. Fights happen in the halls and classrooms and the teachers shouldn't just stand around and let them do it (especially subs). There is one sub who let many fights happen and did nothing about it.

Good- This is great for me as a student. There are new principles, that do include the vice principal. this school makes you express who you are in a good way. there are many clubs for us to join. This includes cooking club, track, band, chorus, and more. if you have any great ideas or talents that you would like to show to the school the only thing you would like to do is ask. When going to school you will feel safe as a student and also parents will know that they are sending their child to a school where it is safe. Our principles review the rules often to make sure kids understand them. this can cause bullying and other related things to stop occurring. the counselor is very nice and will understand anything you have a problem with. She will always have your back and will always try to help. Teachers will try their hardest to make a child try their hard.
Bad- Although this school is great and all, kids have to pay for the consequences. Some rules are too strict. Kids might get righted up for things that are not supposed to be bad things. For example, forgetting to charge your Chromebook. The top 3 R's are Respectful, Responsible, and Ready. Sometimes staff members are having bais on certain kids. Lunch can make an upgrade. Too much work for newcomers. cleaner bathrooms. Equal boys and girls in one classroom.

Fighting is not tolerated here at all. Bullying , however, is. Had I known how bad this district is I would have never purchased a home here. The students are rough here. Boys and girls. Just today 3 girls approached 1 very timid girl very hostile after school. Once they noticed I was watching they left her alone. There were adults around. They are that rogue. Administration and teachers are nice enough. A few teachers are pretty great. But the kids here are an aggressive bunch. We moved here due to RVs reputation. Hopefully well be long gone before my kids get there.

This school has one of the lowest academic ratings in the state. That speaks volumes about the staff who call themselves "educators".

Respect? Does that include bullying being overlooked or a gang of kids trampling a 7th grade female student and walking on her head? Prisons have these events, not middle schools.

Absolutely not! They also fail to thoroughly investigate bullying and will never file a report with the State of New Jersey, as required by law. Holbein's academic record is poor enough without adding disregard for student's safety to that. It would then be a 1 out of 10 instead of a 3.

Terrible. My daughter's experience at this "school" (I use the term loosely) makes me regret buying a home in Mount Holly. The only escape from this poor excuse of an education establishment is to send your child out of district. But you need to take them on legally, because they will never voluntarily give up the funds. They have more teachers, yet students scores continue to fall. Why is that? FAILURE.

My 6th grader had a easy time transitioning into middle school this year. The teachers have been positive, helpful, and encouraging during this year. My 6th grader has enjoyed being a part of the various sports teams. Communication between school and parents could be better. As well as, discipline for foul language in the hallways and at lunchtime.

Fantastic Literary department, especially Mrs. W*****. Great staff, good leadership but a serious lack of parental involvement. Overall its a really good school, my kids have done very well here thanks to dedicated teachers that really do care about their students.

My daughter is doing very well in school and she loves it. There are a handful of teachers that I've grown to love but overall, this school isn't that great. I personally don't think it's as bad as some say but it is definitely not as good as some say either. Mediocre at best.

That last review must haven written by a teacher. This school is the worst. Unfortunately I have no choice but to send my child here.

LOVE this school. Teachers are dedicated and go above and beyond. Any issues have been addresed promptly and fairly. Students are treated with respect and in return greater things are expected of them. This school is a positive environment for children, you can feel there is just a different and great energy in this school.
