Olph is more than a school, it is a family. Like every family sometimes there are bumps but those bumps are in the past and our future is looking bright. We have upgraded programs, dedicated teachers and a wonderful Principal starting her 2nd year with our family. I would not send my children anywhere else.

After years of negative leadership (see previous comments) we have a new Principal who is easily approachable, compassionate and works hard to build our community. She supports faculty and family and has made a wonderful impact on our school.

OLPH is a different school than it was four years ago. Carl Jankowski’s tenure has been the final nail in the school’s coffin. He has driven away a lot of the families and teachers that made the school what it was. They have been replaced by inexperienced and under qualified teachers and many families who aren’t part of the Maple Shade community at all.

Our current Principal, Carl Jankowski has been a huge negative to our community. His interaction with our parents & school community has been at times contentious and borderline hostile. Through his tenure, he sadly drove off many families but there is GREAT NEWS and a light at the end of this tunnel. It was recently announced that our prayers & complaints have been answered and he will be LEAVING at the end of this school year. This is a huge positive for the school. This change in leadership is seen as a big step in the right direction and an opportunity for our dedicated teachers and staff to flourish. Do not let negative stories of the past deter you from our OLPH family. Great things are coming for our school!!!

We love our school & parish community. There have been issues but our voices have finally been heard. Our current Principal, Carl Jankowski has been a huge negative to our community. His interaction with our parents & school community has been at times contentious and borderline hostile. He was arrogant, unprofessional and rude. He was also very intimidating with our children by calling them into his office and interrogating them at length over events that took place outside of school. My only hope is that should he somehow attempt to end up as an administrator at another school that they throughly check his references so he can not try to ruin another school. Through his tenure, he sadly drove off many families but there is GREAT NEWS and a light at the end of this tunnel. It was recently announced that our prayers & complaints have been answered and he will be LEAVING at the end of this school year. This is a HUGE positive for the school. This change in leadership is seen as a big step in the right direction and an opportunity for our dedicated teachers and staff to flourish. Olph has been a nightmare. The principal treats parents with disrespect, engaging in childish shouting matches. The teachers are okay, but the school doesn't have much going for it anymore.

This is a private school without a full-blown special ed program. That being said, they are very good at making accommodations and offering extra assistance where needed.

The student population is small. Not much goes unnoticed.

There are a great group of students at this school. They are involved in many community service projects. They donate time and money to groups like veterans and Ronald McDonald House.

The current leadership under Carl Jankowski is poor. He is a great marketer/businessman, but a terrible school administrator. The school is hemorrhaging students because of his actions.

The majority of teachers here are excellent. They are the type of teachers who care about the students and go above and beyond simply fulfilling the requirements of the job.

My overall experience with this school has been good. I would recommend it to other parents. It is worth the tuition. My child has enjoyed their time at OLPH and I have been happy with the education and opportunities.

The teachers do an excellent job of assigning homework that reinforces learning. I've always felt that my child was assigned an age-appropriate quantity of homework.

It's like home. My boys have been here the past 4 years. A very comfortable and loving environment. My kids ate thriving and I am confident they are receiving a great education, along with consistently strong faith values.

I have had children at this school for four years. They have received a strong foundation in academics and faith fully supported by caring teachers and school leadership. The school community is like a second family for all of us!

I absolutely LOVE this school, the teachers and the families. In response to the previous comment regarding the leadership....how many people "always" agree with their boss or anyone acting as an authority figure? Disagreements will happen. Overall, Our principal is doing a fine job. I strongly recommend Our Lady Of Perpetual Help.

My daughter came to OLPH after 4 years in public school and I only wish I would have made the transfer sooner!! She is thriving in her new school and has made more new friends that I could have ever imagined. The principal is committing to making the school better for the children and enriching their education. We love OLPH!!!

As a new family to OLPH, I am very grateful for the rigorous curriculum, inclusive community and Catholic Values incorporated into my 6th and 7th Graders' daily learning experience. My childrens' teachers are dedicated (my daughter's teacher often helps her after school and supports her quite often when she is struggling) and fair. The support staff and principal is present and involved. Love this school!

I have a Kindergartener and a 1st grader....I cant believe how much HW my 1st grader gets. Sometimes it takes more than an hour at night to complete which for a 7yr old seems excessive.
Last year he had a K teacher who also gave what seemed like an excessive amount. This year my new K seems to have less and seems to enjoy the class a lot more

Great school with fantastic, compassionate teachers. The addition of the new principle has been fantastic and really revolutionized the experience. Very family oriented and certainly offers a great deal of support for students. Grateful to have our 3 kiddos attend

Gauls has nothing to do with OLPH and the review about them should be removed. OLPH has their own Nursery and Pre-K program, which have wonderful teachers, flexible schedules and reasonable rates. Anyone interested in a three year old or four year old program should check out OLPH. Plus we just got a new principal who is excellent!!!

My daughter started at OLPH this year and I have nothing but good things to say about the school. The teachers are excellent, the students are well behaved and the parents actually care. They have a great computer lab, library, smart boards, etc. I would definitely recommend this school.
