A Home Away from Home for Our Daughter

Choosing a daycare for our daughter, Ayla, was one of the most important decisions we’ve made as parents. From the moment we walked into Cherry Hill Montessori, we knew we had found a special place. Being family-owned, they treat every child like their own—with warmth, kindness, and genuine care.

We had heard amazing reviews before enrolling, and now, after experiencing it firsthand, we can confidently say this daycare is truly exceptional. The staff is incredibly nurturing, flexible, and dedicated, providing outstanding value for the price. Most importantly, the owner, Kerri Lambo, is simply amazing. Her background in physical therapy gives us an extra layer of reassurance, knowing that she understands both the physical and emotional well-being of children. Her empathy and dedication shine through in everything she does.

Cherry Hill Montessori has been a safe and loving environment where Ayla has thrived. She is learning so much, making wonderful friends, and developing incredible social skills. Seeing her happy and excited to go to daycare every day speaks volumes about the love and care she receives here.

If you love your child, do not send them to this 'school'.

We sent our child here and had to take her out after half a year. There were multiple incidents of bullying and/or kids just misbehaving and the school not handling those situations properly. I had no false hope that every kid would act like an angel 100% of the time and believe I was realistic in hoping that if and when a child would not behave well, the teachers would know how to handle it- boy, was I wrong!

My daughter was scratched, pushed, hit, had her leg stood on by a boy (to which the teacher just told the other kid not to do it bc my daughter didn't like it.... Because so many people would)

The straw that broke the camels back was: my husband arrived to pick up my daughter and noticed a bump/bruise on her head. He asked the 3 teachers at the door what happened. They all said they didn't know.

Our daughter told us that a boy (who had done other things to her in the past and sounded to be an overall behavioral issue), hit her in the head with a stick on the playground. I asked if a teacher saw. She said no. She said she told a teacher and that teacher put the kid in timeout. Ok, fine. BUT, she happened to be one of the teachers at the door that said she didn't know what happened to my daughter....

In all the time my daughter went yo the school, we felt they operated in the dark. We never received an email about any incidents and when we brought it to her teachers attention, he said he would look into it and get back to me. Never did.

After this last incident, they also said they were going to investigate and interview the teachers and get back to me with their findings. They never did.

It became very obvious to me that this school was all about collecting $$, but not providing even the basic service of safety, not to mention an education.

I am not an unreasonable individual, and if they had just communicated when things happened and told me how they remedied it, I would have been ok.

Send your child elsewhere..... there are plenty of good schools out there. This is not one of them.

I have sent both of my sons to CHM. We went to four different schools before enrolling them as we believed it was an important decision. The moment we finished the interview at Montessori, we felt like that was the only choice for us because they were the only ones that we felt catered to the specific needs and individual abilities for each of our kids.

We loved the school so much that we drove two hours every day to get there. My family and I had the chance to interact with every single staff member at the school on many different occasions throughout the years. Everyone is kind and patient and willing to listen and help with any concerns. They all communicated with us if there was any issue of any kind or any changes being done to the school. Everyday, they sent a message explaining how the kids were and what they worked on.

My kids loved their teachers and looked forward to going back every day because they made sure my boys had a fun environment where they could blossom and feel heard.

This is the last year for my youngest son and I must say, Cherry Hill Montessori and their entire staff has helped give my kids confidence, great social skills and that “I can do it” attitude.

Cherry Hill Montessori truly is the very BEST educational experience that my child has ever encountered. First and foremost, the staff is KIND, warm and considerate. The staff works as a team to nurture and help each student to grow academically and socially. My child has struggled with with various schools in the past, but Montessori has changed all this. My child looks forward to each and every day at Montessori, and it is wonderful to see how independent she has become. She has special needs, and the school has welcomed her with open arms. She has so many friends and has really flourished. Top notch !

Both of my sons attend CHM. I am so thrilled we made the decision to send our children here, it is one of the best decisions we have made for them. My older son is full of energy (which isn't the easiest thing to handle) and his teachers (and all of the staff) dealt with him in a way that provided him with boundaries for his behavior but absolutely no limits to his curiosity. He has developed into a considerate and inquisitive little man, and I know a lot of it has to do with the environment and experience at CHM. My younger son is the shy guy and his language and communication skills have blossomed at CHM. They loving going to school and they love the summer camp program as well. Send your kids here! I hope you have as good of an experience as we have.

this school is HANDS DOWN the best montessori school i have ever come across. the staff is nothing short of amazing, with positive attitudes, constant smiles and an abundance of knowledge and love for every child that walks through their doors. Any child that comes out of that school walks away not just with life long friends but with the foundation and confidence to follow through with life and all their ambitions. Each and every teacher (including the owner) take pride in spending the time to teach children the Montessori way and its evident in the skills the kids bring home on a daily basis. Without question this school is a leading example of what it means to be a Montessori school!

Visit the school you will NOT be disappointed.

My wife and I currently have two children attending Cherry Hill Montessori. They love this school - they are excited in the morning and happy and busy when I arrive to pick them up. They are so excited to tell us about their day and show off what they learned, which includes experiences, trips and projects they would not be exposed to at a traditional daycare. Our oldest is now in public school and is a graduate of Cherry Hill Montessori. She was beyond prepared academically for the transition to school and I think attending Cherry Hill Montessori has given her a distinct advantage and a tremendous amount of confidence. I credit the program at Cherry Hill Montessori for laying a strong foundation for her growth both academically and socially. I cannot speak high enough about this preschool.

I am very fortunate to have found Cherry Hill Montessori School. I have been a Montessori teacher for over 24 years, mostly in PA. When relocating to South Jersey, I was unable to find a job at a Montessori School and ended up working at a popular "day care". It turned out to be the biggest mistake and I was unhappy every day going to work. I was fortunate to find Cherry Hill Montessori and was hired. This is an authentic Montessori school following the Philosophy that Maria Montessori began over 100 years ago. The staff and curriculum are amazing. The children are being taught to be kind and respectful people as well as being far ahead in the academic world. If you are looking for anything, please check out Cherry Hill Montessori. You definitely will not be disappointed.
