My experience at Pace has been very pleasant. The teachers and principals are dedicated to learning and ensuring a quality education for students. I feel my son is in a safe environment where education is fostered.

My daughter had a small issue with a girl on the playground and bus last year which was promptly addressed by the principal and resolved immediately. Happy to say the girls have been friendly since.

My daughters do not have learning disabilities at this time. However, I am aware of the special attention my children could be provided, if needed. I appreciate the different reading groups that provide levels of learning as a reflection of the differences in reading abilities.

I can't say enough wonderful praises about Administration, especially the principals. Actively involved in student learning, communicative to families and staff, excitable, responsible, in integrity and extremely friendly. Bravo!!

As it occurs to me, Pace students do not get lost in the shuffle. Small class sizes provides the opportunity for all voices to be heard.

Different teachers have different personalities and styles, but all adhere to Pace's commitment to excellence in education.

Homework is intentional as it supports and is an extension of the work done that day. It is a good reinforcement, indicates my child's ability to retain information, as well as transfer knowledge or apply learning to another situation.

From the first time my husband and I stepped into the building, we knew by the warm, welcoming feeling that this school would provide nurturing support along with quality education to our two daughters. Pace teachers are highly communicative and create a partnership with us in our children's learning. The administration and support staff are so involved in student learning that our children are supported by nearly everyone they come in contact with daily. I am confident about and thankful for Pace Charter School.

When you have a class of about 15 children and maybe 1 in the 15 experience learning differently it can present challenges. It may become difficult to adequately address the needs of the one and attend to the other students. I think when it becomes difficult to resolve the issue levels of frustration and hopelessness arise and the needs of the child can get lost.

This is my daughter's second year at Pace, and although there is nightly homework, it is age appropriate as to the time needed to complete and is normally an assignment to reinforce what was learned during class that day.
Posted: March 6, 2017
The staff and teachers are amazing and well-trained, they are very hands on with the students. In addition, the smaller class settings allow the children to get individual attention, if needed. Pace's curriculum allows the children to embrace learning and enjoy it. All that is needed now is for Pace to expand through 12th grade!!

Pace Charter School was the best thing that could have happened to my son. My son has learned so much just within his first few months of school, all thanks to the dedication of each and every teacher. The teachers care about each of their students and it really shows. Pace makes sure that, "NO child is left behind" and they mean it. Teachers at Pace deserve a big thumbs up.

I have a Kindergartener and First Grader attending Pace. I absolutely love this school. The founder and lead person, Debbie, also founded Little Kids College which is the preschool both my kids attended. Moving on to Pace is one of the best decisions made for my family. The small atmosphere is great for my girls who are a little shy and they are familiar with some of the staff whom they initially met through LKC. I love the fact that the all the staff and teachers recognize and associate with all the parents and students. The new principal, Ms. Cincotta, is wonderful and has adapted well to Pace culture. The reading program is wonderful and the kids are reading within the first half of their kindergarten year. Pace also has a calendar full lineup of evening educational and fun activities throughout the year which allows for great parent/teacher/student interaction. There is also so much parent involvement they had to start hosting the events at Robert Wood Johnson Center to have more space. We just moved to Hamilton and my husband and I have decided to keep our girls at Pace through 3rd grade and possibly longer if Pace were to expand.

Our daughter is in 1st grade at Pace. When she entered kindergarten there she had poor letter recognition and by. Christmas in kindergarten she had begun to read! The small classroom size (this yr 14 students in her class) gives the teachers an opportunity to really get to know & work with your child to improve and grow. We have also found the staff to be very kind & loving towards the students creating an atmosphere that makes children feel cared about & appreciated. They take emphasis on building character as well. Teaching children about being trustworthy honest & helpful towards others. They often reward exceptional students and those that show additional effort, allowing them to standout & accept praise for a job well done, which I find refreshing in a society which trend seems to be to award all children 'everyone gets a trophy', until they enter the real world and find out that couldn't be more untrue! I only wish that the school would move & expand. It is currently located next to a bar, the playground leaves much to be desired, as it's nothing more then a parking lot with a play structure . They fact that the school only goes up to 3rd grade is disappointing.
