As someone who went here, do not send your kids here. In short, the staff is terrible. My teacher told my friend in front of the whole class that she was “dumber than a dump truck.” My music teacher used to sing about going to heaven… when not everyone believes in God/Heaven so why was that allowed? We sang a song about DYING at 8 years old. Also, the principal is the worst. I don’t know how he has a job especially because he let 3-6 graders walk home miles away from the school and on main roads.

My daughter is now in the 3rd grade and is 8 years old. She has been in 5 schools and has had 7 teachers since the 1st grade due to relocating from Philly, to Virginia, and now in New Jersey. We've relocated in this school district in February 2019. Prior to John Hydock EM 2nd grade and 3rd grade at Mansfield Township EM, my daughter was exposed to bullying and teachers who didn't have nearly as much passion for students as John Hydock and Mansfield Township Elementary. Now that we have witnessed the support, partnership, and advocacy, along with the remarkable results with my daughter's test scores and personality since attending both John Hydock and Mansfield Township, we REFUSE to live elsewhere and have finally found a place where we can settle down as a family and call home. We are currently working towards owning our first home in this school district! We are truly blessed to meet and grow with such beautiful people! Trusting strangers is NEVER easy when it comes to our children. Naturally and mutually, this tribe has became our family.

The Staff and Teachers are highly effective with teaching and mentoring their students during school hours which allows minimal amount of homework and supports their students to be kids. This also supports full-time parents to continue to be involved while providing a healthy balance between the importance of family time and education.

They a natural leaders that our children can learn from through academics and character. The passion and partnership that I've witnessed as a parent is remarkable!

Typically kids bring home bad habits that are picked up by other kids but that's not the case here. The principle, staff and teachers are a natural live example of strong character that isn't something you can academically teach. We learn from what we see, especially as children, and strong character is a blessing to witness from our children as result.

Leadership is very attentive and supportive. This speaks for itself throughout the chain of command and through my daughter.

My daughter has ADHD and the support system to help my daughter succeed is HIGHLY EFFECTIVE! ADHD is no longer disabling my daughter. In fact our partnership has turned ADHD into her super power.

Absolutely! They are very passionate about empowering students with the relationship tools that they will need not only as children, but in their adult lives as well!

This school is great! I am a 6th grade student and through the years I've been here this school never let me down. If there was a bully they would take care of it immediatly. I learn so much every day and I wish every year wouldn't end. The gym and cafeteria is ginormous and the school itself is huge. This is a school that you will never doubt. If you start failing which I doubt you won't there is our leap program.

Both of my sons attended Mansfield Elementary School. In my opinion the teachers and staff are superb. I can not complain about any one teacher either of my sons had during their time in ES. The teachers in 5 and 6 grade are great, they truly prepare the students for middle school.

This school just happens to be in my area. I had never known about this school until I moved here some years ago.

The teachers and parents truly have the children's best interest at heart. My son is in 3rd grade and I have not had a single teacher that has not given 100% to his well being and education. I actually hire them to tutor in the summer because of their excellent results. As a parent giving your child to someone else for 6-8 hrs. a day is a hard thing to do, I am very thankful and have piece of mind that my child is safe and secure in his school while away from me.

The teaching staff is amazing. Each year I don't think my son could have a better teacher and I am proven wrong. This year Mr. Zimmer has really turned my son's thoughts on school around. He now loves going to school and getting there early, has a goal to become an engineer and is actually looking foward to an extended tutoring session with his current teacher to maintain what he's learned throughout the summer. The school overall is excellent. It is one of the main reasons I moved from Central Jersey to Northern Burlington County.
